Reading Beat Southampton

Reading and Southampton were both promoted to the Premier League last season but the Royals won today's game 1-0. Sam Baldock scored the only goal of the game but Baldock also missed a penalty for the home side. Unfortunately both Craig Dawson and James Ward-Prowse had to come off injured. Dawson will be out for at least two months while Ward-Prowse will be out for two weeks at least. Southampton hover just above the relegaation zone.

Still yet to win a game =/ but still early in the campaign so i think you should be able to turn things around.

Southampton Draw With West Ham

Southampton and West Ham couldn't be separated in a thrilling 2-2 draw. Victor Moses scored after 9 minutes to put the away side ahead but French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin equalised for Southampton. Jack Collison put the Hammers ahead two minutes later though but Yaya Sanogo scored the last goal of the game for either side with Southampton's second equaliser of the game. Unfortunately, Southampton's star striker Rickie Lambert had to come off injured to add to the Saints injury crisis. Their injury list now is Craig Dawson, Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Pavel Horvath, Jordan Rhodes, Jason Banton, James Ward-Prowse and Lilian Bochet.

Normally Lambert and Rhodes up front with Lallana on the left and Pederson on the right, occasionally Eprahim on the left and Lallana AM.
great story!, maybe look to getting a more experienced striker that can be used as a super sub:)

Southampton Hammer Crawley In High Scoring Game

Southampton thrashed Crawley 6-3 and Billy Sharp got a hat-trick at the Broadfield Stadium in the Carling Cup. Sharp got his first after ten minutes hitting home following a save from the Crawley goalkeeper. The striker then doubled his tally from the penalty spot after Morten Gamst-Pederson was brought down. Sharp then completed his hat-trick after just half an hour with a powerful effort past Neal Kitson in the Crawley goal. Hogan Eprahim then scored a header following a Ched Evans cross to make the score 4-0 to Southampton going into half-time. Claude Davis scored a header for Crawley after a corner and then the Red Devils got a second thanks to Paul Hayes. Ched Evans then scored a beautiful goal with an effort that first looked to be a cross but ended up crossing the line and Yaya Sanogo got Southampton's sixth thanks to a mistake from Kitson, the Crawley goal, who cleared it straight to Pederson who found Sanogo in space who slotted the ball past the keeper. Billy Clarke got Crawley's third but it was too little too late from the home team and the scores ended 6-3 to the visitors.
