Southampton beat Burnley 3-0 at Turf Moor today. Tadanari Lee scored Saints first thanks to a brilliant through ball by Djibril Sidibe and then the Japanese international doubled his and Southampton's lead with a fine induvidual effort. Southampton Hammer Leeds

Gordan Strachan had a dreadful start to his new job as Leeds manager after losing to Southampton 4-0. Adam Lallana got his first goal of the season thanks to a brilliant ball from Tadanari Lee. Rickie Lambert also got his first goal of the season with a perfect strike from the edge of the box just after the second half. He then got his second and Southampton's third with a similar strike to his first. Then, to top it off, Iago Falque scored his first goal of the season.

you have Djibril cisse? he'll be quality for you while your still in the championship, getting quite a few clean sheets too which is good because the saints dont particularly start with a great defence

Lambert Scores Hat-Trick as Southampton Ease Past Bottom Doncaster

Rickie Lambert bagged his first hat-trick of the season as Southampton beat Doncaster 4-0 at St Mary's Stadium. Craig Dawson scored Southampton's first goal with a header thanks to a Luke Shaw corner. His first two goals were both volleys thanks to superb passes from Tadanari Lee and then Djibril Sidibe. His third and final goal was a stunning free-kick from at least 35 yards.

Craig Dawson (Southampton)
Rickie Lambert (3) (Southampton)
Rickie Lambert (Southampton)

Final Score: Southampton 4-0 Doncaster

Managers Thoughts: I thought it was a stunning performance from Rickie (Lambert) and Craig (Dawson). Rickie's third was probably one of the best goals I have ever seen!
