Black Cats Beat Saints

Southampton were on the end of a deserved defeat at The Stadium Of Light as they were completely outplayed by Sunderland. Midfielder Stephane Sessegnon got the home side off to a flyer after just 9 minutes and then ot his second with a beautiful effort from at least 25 yards out. Southampton remain in 15th place while Sunderland are beating the critics as they are 9th in the league.

#55098 seraphs : wow what happened in 2018-2019???? :)
haha we somehow won the league. Apparently Yaya Sanogo's form was amazing! He scored 25 goals in 30 games.
Man you have got a huge squad lol so many forwards to choose from :P
#55108 patrick1 : Man you have got a huge squad lol so many forwards to choose from :P
Yeah looking to move some players on such as Bojan, Walcott and Nani because they aren't in my first team plans.
How old are the trio now? I expect Nani is like 35, Theo probably 30 and Bojan 28?
Nani is 33, Theo is 30 and Bojan is 29
Can you show me how Huddersfield have done and all the English division tables please? thanks!
in my 4th season with the saints, 2015-2016. my team looks like this (Formation 4-2-3-1) i play a fluid style with control as my strategy. I won the championship in the first season (signed frimpong, macheda and danny wilson on loan), and upon promotion managed to finish an amazing 4th, thanks to a late surge at the end of the season, led by Gylfi, adam lallana and darwin quintero. in 2013-2014 finished 6th. 2014-2015 was a fantastic season for the saints, won the europa league and pipped chelsea to the last champions league spot on the last day of the season. had to win and chelsea had to lose, so you can imagine my astonishment when i beat man city 3-1 away and chelsea lost 3-2 to reading!!

GK: M-Andre Ter Stegen (Bought for 7m pounds in 2013-2014)
RB: Kyle Walker (4m in 2012-2013) He was unhappy at Tottenham so got him cheap)
CB: Scott Dann (8m in 2012-2013) Seems expensive but he's been a solid buy
CB: Ryan Shawcross (8.5m in 2013-2014) My captain and england regular, he was unhappy at Stoke
LB: Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa (11.5m in 2014-2015) I play him LB but he's a natural CB, class
CM: Jack Rodwell (13.5m in 2015-2016)
CM: Keisuke Honda (11.5 in 2014-2015) Was unhappy at CSKA
LW: Jay Rodriguez (4m in 2012-2013 january) now natural at LW, bangs in around 10-15 goals from the left
CAM: Gylfi Siggurdson (6.25m in 2012-2013) an absolute beast i play him as trequartista, wouldnt sell him if a 30m offer came in. Scores long range screamers regularly and led me almost single handedly to the CL in my first season in the prem, scoring 28 goals. A must buy if you can afford him
RM: Younes Belhanda (13m in 2014-2015) been worth the money
CF: Fabio Borini (5m in 2012-2013 january) a very good buy considering hes not very expensive, scored 30 goals in the 2014-2015 as a lone poacher. *Do not buy him unless youre planning on playing him as a Striker. Played him as an inside forward on the RW in 2013-2014 and struggled there. He's keeping danny welbeck on the bench now. Trained him from a 17 finishing to 19.

Notable bench players:

Danny Welbeck 2013-2014(cost me only 4m! was unhappy at Man U as he was on the bench)
Darwin Quintero 2011-2012 (cost me 2.5m, the only player left from the championship winning squad-a must buy if youre starting out)
Estaban Granero 2013-2014(3.5m from Real) very average player
Alejandro Faurlin 2012-2013 (4m)
Angello Ogbonna 2015-2016 (6m backup but is a natural LB and CB)
Conor Coady 2015-2016 (1.5m backup CB/DM)

*sold Jack Cork and Adam Lallana for 8.5m each to Aston Villa.
this is either a lie or a cheat.
Might go back to this story as I haven't done it for a long time :)
