Arsenal - Road to glory

Now I have a title to defend, winning the Premier League two years in a row wont be an easy task, but i can see with the team I have built that it is very possible to do. Have brought in some new talent to the squad witch will hopefully give my team the edge, the transfer window isn't closed yet, but so far this is what I have brought in to the squad.


I'm pleased to announce this very talented player into the ranks of Arsenal, for the price of £52M the manager is putting his trust in that the player will preform and bring his club up for fighting even harder for the title.

A brilliant pre-season with Wilshere kicking some good ass throughout the games and Niang showing he is ready to be played more up on top in competitive games

Now the season is underway, good to see Pastore getting on, still need to figure out what role to use him in, but he is in on some crucial moments in the games. Other than that it seems I'm having some trouble with scoring goals, leaving it up to my defense to bring in the points and they have duly delivered, for the most part at least.

Nice story mate i'm actually doing an arsenal story too but don't you think you're spending alot of money really i mean you can just use your academy and be youngsters and develop them which can save money and also it's more fun

Well, to compete against the money machines that has developed in my league I do need to put in some cash for some true quality and my youths aren't that good, haven't had much luck in my own youth department even tho I'm having what they call top notch youth facility and coaches. Will be some youngsters coming up real soon, already have a DM in rotation worthy of a first team spot.

Ur welcome mate but as usual if you can't develop your youth go and find regens in clubs that have classy regens like chivas and athletic those kind of clubs and in my opinion letting The OX go on a free transfer is really bad cause he's one of the best youngsters at arsenal

Thought i would share some ideas for where I'm planning on going with the club.

With my signings throughout my campaign the home grown rule is starting to become an issue, so would have to start to even harder involve my youngsters. Gotta say I'm really glad I've bought youngsters throughout my campaign, even tho I'm still waiting for it to really pay off. Have a couple I'm already using in many of my starting lineup:

Bongumba am I using as a rotation quite often as he is preforming stedily

These two players I'm implementing, but they are in positions where I have strong players, so won't be too many games they are getting.


The others I'm considering bringing up to the big game are those I'm posing under, would love to hear your thoughts on these players, if you think I should drop anyone or start giving some first team time, would really help me out since its a tough thing to spot when they will be taking bigger players spot for some games.



So hoping to hear what you think of these prospects.

I think you give that Viana kid a go in the team he looks really good.

My two cents worth, Vaina's technical stats are amazing but poor team work and work rate, but Alan Sliny and Luis Estrada look descent. Depending how long Tiaguinho has been in England, I'd give him a punt, he has great finishing and first touch scores for a defender!

I have taken up on your words here and tested out and promoted those you have mentioned and it has given results and some promise for their future.

Luis Estrada has been given 2 games now, one against Ipswitch. He has delivered with scoring 2 goals and having 1 assist, even managed to get himself a man of the match award with an average rating of 7.90 on these two games, definitely one to have in the first team squad to use every now and again.

Alan Slinley has started 1 game and been a sub in 5 games, he has delivered 1 goal against Sparta Prague ending with an average rating of 6.90, definitely good for a 17 year old player trowed in the fire.

Diego opened his campaign with a brilliant free kick goal, looking at his stats for free kicks he is definitely going to be the one taking them in the future, he has also gotten himself an assist in the 8 games he has gotten so far.

Tom Duboc, another boy who has managed to grab a goal, with playing 4 games, starting 2 he has also gotten 1 assist with average match rating of 7.42

Have also given Viana and Tiaguinho a chance, but not much to notice on that front, average preformance, nothing too good and nothing bad.

Mate can i ask you abit of a noob question..Where did you get those little logos next to the players name?
