Louis van Gaal, current manager of Arsenal, want Danny Wilson and Sebastian Coates to improve his defensive line. Why would these two hotshots leave 1st-placed Liverpool for 7th-placed Arsenal? I issued a hands-off warning and am certain that the two of them have no wish to leave Liverpool for Arsenal anyway. Both of them will stay at Liverpool for a long, long time, definitely.
Carra has signed a new two-year contract that will see him remain at the club and in professional football until June 2015 - and by then he'll be 37! Wow, just wow.
The board have offered me the chance to change my targets for the season. I have told them that instead of a title challenge I believed I could win the Premier League and they were very impressed by my ambition, and thus granted me more funds in the transfer market - although I probably won't use much. I just hope that this declaration to the board doesn't backfire on me.

December was a great month as we didn't slip up at all apart from the 1-1 draw against QPR.

The Premier League table at the end of December.

The January transfer window has started!
Brazilian wonderkid Mario, who plays for my U18s and Reserves, has seemingly done enough to make some of my coaches and youth coaches speak well of him to me. They tell me that he has improved significantly over the last six months and progressing really well in training. I am taking their comments very seriously as I have actually gone down to see the Reserves train a few times myself - Mario is absolutely superb in training and his consistent performances has helped the U18s and Reserves remain top of the youth leagues.
Carlos Fierro has scooped the Player of the Month Award for December and Luis Suarez comes in 2nd place. His goal against Newcastle in the 4-1 win over Toon also won the December Goal of the Month while I came in 2nd for December Manager of the Month, with Frank Rijkaard of Tottenham coming in 1st.
Lionel Messi has won the Ballon d'Or. You didn't expect anyone else did you?

He has also bagged the World Player of the Year award.

Jose Enrique and Mario Balotelli are both in the World Team of the Year while Gerrard and Suarez are among the subs.
As a fan myself, I know how annoying it is for the fans when the club doesn't do it's transfer business early. And I always aim to please the fans. It's only the first day of the transfer window and we already have three guys coming in.

Jose Angel Rodriguez

A Mexican striker coming from the same club as Carlos Fierro, everyone is of course hoping this new Mexican kid will be like Carlos. Rodriguez's transfer was arranged during the summer and he has a lot, a lot of potential. The club has already took many calls praising my new signing, as the fans can also see our new wonderkid's potential despite him being relatively unknown. Rodriguez has said he is very pleased to have joined a world-class club with passionate fans and that he would be looking to repay the fans for giving him such a warm welcome to the club, by breaking into the first team as fast as he could and putting in some good performances.

Mbaye Niang

The French starlet couldn't settle at Inter Milan and left Italy after only two and a half years. I had been chasing him since his days at Stade Malherbe Caen but we eventually lost out to Inter who put in a better offer. I'm delighted to welcome such a promising player to the club but his acquisition will mean that Andy Carroll gets less first team opportunities.

Alessandro Rossi

Only one of the many wonderkids discovered by my capable scouting team, we brought him in from Juventus who had offered him a new three-year contract. Rossi immediately rejected the contract upon hearing my interest in him and jumped at the chance to sign for Liverpool. The Italian left-back who started his career at the Juventus Stadium, said that he couldn't wait to break into the first team and that he would work as hard as he could to do just that.
Alessandro Rossi will wear No. 49 whenever he plays for the first team, Jack Robinson's old kit number, while Rodriguez gets No. 45. Mbaye Niang takes Dirk Kuyt's old kit, wearing the No. 18.
Speaking of Mexicans, Carlos Fierro has signed a new contract, meaning he'll stay at Anfield until the summer of 2018. The striker, whose previous contract expired at the end of this season, is now earning 32.5k per week at only 19, with a 1M loyalty bonus.
Liverpool's Scottish first team coach Stewart Houston has set his sights on retirement from the game on the 24th of June 2014. He has served Liverpool well during his three years here at the club and I'll be really sad to see him leave after getting used to seeing his face everyday for so long.
Conor Coady has returned from his loan spell at Swindon and I have offered him to random clubs - now I shall wait and see if any clubs are interested in him.
Reading has offered to take Conor Coady on loan with a view to a permanent deal, until the end of the season.

My first match of the month will be against Nott. Forest in the FA Cup - and I'll probably throw some of my new signings into the side.
Sunderland has joined West Ham in the race to sign Jack Robinson.

Unfortunately there is no race because HE IS NOT LEAVING!
I fielded my three new wonderkids in the match against Nottingham Forest... Mbaye Niang got injured after only 20+ minutes, Alessandro Rossi was pretty average, but Rodriguez stood out, bagging a goal and creating another in a 3-1 win. We progress to the next round of the FA Cup, with Rodriguez getting his first goal, first assist, and first Man of the Match award in his first match for Liverpool. ;)
Yaya Sanogo is starting to look more and more like a super sub. Everytime he comes off the bench he does something(in this instance, he scored two goals in the 3-1 win against Nottingham), whereas when he starts the game, he does pretty much nothing. Hmmm... something to think about.

Mbaye Niang's injury isn't serious thankfully and will only keep him out for 2 to 3 days.
