#61123 mcfc1985 : Great story so far I've never even heard of Kups lol but it will be interesting to see where they're headed with you at the helm.

Have a look at my story if you will :D

I will take a look at your story when I have time.
I have a few goals to reach with this story:
To win the Club World Championships, To win the most Finnish League, Cup and League Cup titles in history, to win the most Champion's Leagues in history and to top the Hall of Fame.
I really hope that you will continue to follow this story as with the tactics that I am using, everything seems to be possible.

April Update

KuPS got a win and a loss in their first two league games of the season and continued through two cup rounds to the semi-final since the league cup final.

16.04.2011. 5-2 Win vs MYPA (H) League
A great start in our league campaign as we put five past MYPA. They gott two consolation goals late on.

20.04.2011. 1-1 Draw (5-4 Penalty Win) vs JJK (H) Finnish Cup 7th Round
A very exciting game as JJK scored early. Paul Obiefule scored a dramatic late equaliser to bring the game to extra time. The game went to penalties and KuPS held their nerves to score a perfect five and go through to the quarter final.

23.04.2011. 0-1 Loss vs JJK (A) League
Well a loss was maybe long overdue. KuPS managed to hold on to the very last minute when JJK scored.

28.04.2011. 3-2 Win vs TPS (A) Finnish Cup Qtr Final
We went two goals down early on. A stern H/T team-talk motivated the KuPS players. Ilja Venalainen scored early on in the second half. Substitute Antti Hynynen scored twice to give us a win and a passage to the semi-final.

Jonas Emet and Ilja Venalainen impress in April

Emet and Venalainen helped KuPS to a League Cup, a semi-final of the Finnish Cup and fourth place in the league.
"We have played well so far this season and we want to continue our form. I have been delighted with my form and I want to continue on." - Venalainen to reporter from YLE.

Finnish Premier League Team of the Month April 2011

May update to come soon.
Looking good so far. The Finnish league looks really complicated though.
#61320 Glenn T : Looking good so far. The Finnish league looks really complicated though.
It is. The schedule clashes with the European matches but we will get used to it.
Got FC KOMU away in the Finnish Cup semi-final. Should be an easy game for us. HJK host VPS in the other semi-final.
semi final odds
And we are through to the final! We will be contesting it on 24th September against HJK/VPS for the cup and for a place in the Europa League qualifiers
VPS beat HJK in the other semi final. We will be playing them in the final

May Update

This month went well, topping the league and getting to the cup final.

01.03.2011. 4-1 Win vs VPS (H) League
A hat-trick from Ilja Venalainen secured a win for the KuPSi.

09.03.2011. 1-1 Draw vs TPS (A) League
We can't win every game and a draw was a fair result.

12.03.2012. 3-2 Win vs IFK Mariehamn (H) League
A really exciting game where Ilja Venalainen scored a dramatic late winner.

15.03.2012. 1-0 Win vs FF Jaro (A) League
Jaro pushed us all the way but Antti Hynynen scored a winner for us.

20.03.2011. 2-1 Win vs HJK (H) League
A good result against the league favourites.

25.03.2011. 2-1 Win vs FC KOUMO (A) Finnish Cup Semi Final
Way too close for comfort but a win is a win.

29.03.2011. 3-1 Win vs Haka (A) League
A comfortable win for KuPSi.

Europa League 2nd Qualifying Round Draw

Am hoping to get Kalju (Estonian).
fantastic, especially with team like this, intresting to see how turns out for you!

June Update

Three wins from six isn't necessarily a bad result but as a team that is challenging on all fronts (except for Europe). I am hoping for better performance with Europa League qualifiers on the horizon.

12.06.2011. 0-1 Loss vs Honka (A) League
We shot ourselves in the foot when we conceded late on.

15.06.2011. 2-0 Win vs RoPS (A) League
A solid win. With the absence of Ilja Venalainen, I decided to try out Etchu Tabe up front and was rewarded with a goal and an assist.

19.06.2011. 5-0 Win vs MYPA (A) League
Etchu Tabe performed very well up front again notching up two goals and two assists.

22.06.2011. 0-1 Loss vs FC Inter (H) League
We played poorly and Aleksi Paananen didn't help by missing open goal from a yard out, before colliding with the post and receiving a concussion.

26.06.2011. 1-1 Draw vs VPS (A) League
A game that we deserved a win.

29.06.2011. 1-0 Win vs JJK (H) League
Another rival match won. Hynynen scored his tenth of the season.

A unique story, I like it! You considering challenging the likes of Barcelona if your in this for the longrun?

Things are looking fairly rosy now so I don't see why not. The next transfer window will be crucial because I want to be competitive in Europe next season.
Rabotniki beat Kalju and will face us in the Europa League 2nd Rnd Qualifying on thr 14th and 21st July. We are slight favourites.
