The first official Football Manager 2013 announcement was initially expected to arrive by late August, but due to some personal issues of Miles Jacobson (Sports Interactive studio director) the announcement was moved for mid September instead.
Our best wishes go to Miles and his family.

Key new and improved features is the main information that gets revealed with this first announcement. Some teaser screenshots of these new features as well as some video previews should also be expected.
Given the delay of the announcement this year, it is expected to also reveal Football Manager 2013 Release Date.
