March-April update

The end of the season is near, and a lot of teams are fighting for promotion, but only two teams will get their way. Will Wood be one of those?

We had a lot of tough games, but we did get 4 wins that secured the title for us. I am very pleased with the season we had, and especially by Olly Taylor. I fell in love with the young striker but at the end of the season he got back to his club (he was loaned).

Final League table: (Campeones, Campeones! Ole Ole Ole!!!)

Also, in the FA Trophy final we won against Wrexham 3-2, and got our first cup!

After the win, Wood's fans started chanting "Ohhhh, Written in the stars.....!!" and that became our new anthem!

Some nice announcements:
I signed a 2 year extension

Stadium expanding

We turn pro

Manager of the year

Let's hope next season will be as awesome!

As always, read, enjoy, comment and stay tuned for more~

Well done mate your really turning round the fortunes of Boreham Wood
Big congrats on your achievements in that season! Hopefully they will continue in the future. Even better news about the new stadium and turning pro.
I know you can do this because I have done it! I took Corby from the BSN to the Premier League in back to back promotions so I know you can do this!

Pre-Season interview with Joshua Morris

The English manager of Boreham Wood has agreed to have an interview with us today.

Hello Joshua. I want to start by congratulating you for winning Blue Square Bet Premier manager of the year.

It was really special. A lot of people consider me to be some kind of a hero, but i'm only doing my job the best way I know how.

There were roamers that Wycombe Wanderers asked you to be their manager, but instead you extended your contract with Wood. Why not to move?

Why should I move? I love Wood. I love the players, the staff and everything here.

That will certainly please the fans. What are your plans for this season?

As always, I want us to play the best we can, and to base our position in the npower League 2

Speaking of Wycombe, you chose to let Olly Taylor to finish his loan and get back to them instead of signing him. Why?

Olly is amazing. He impressed me so much last season, but I just felt it will be better to sign a more experienced striker for these new levels.

Joshua, we wish you the very best. Good luck.
