A really good Cup tie at Stamford Bridge today as City and Chelsea played out a 1-1 draw and will meet again at the Etihad Stadium. City took the lead only for Chelsea to peg them back, and both teams created chances to win it, with Chelsea finding the net through Mata but it being disallowed for off-side, and in the last minute of injury time David Silva curled a shot that hit the inside of the post and was cleared by the Chelsea defence. Zabaleta was injured during the game and will miss the next week and is likely to miss the Capital One Cup Final. In the 6th Round, City or Chelsea will play Burnley or Hull at home.
Final Score – Chelsea 1 (Jovetic 28) Manchester City 1 (Nem 13)
MOTM – Vincent Kompany
Attendance – 41,924
