Guys, I have decided I want the 500th reply on my story (the next one after this) to be something special, so I am just going to lock this thread until I have it written up tomorrow. Don't worry, it'll be fine :P

Matthaus: "Mancini The Best"

Some Manchester United fans have called for manager Lothar Matthaus' head after he claimed manager of rivals City, Roberto Mancini, is "the best manager in the world right now". City top the Barclays Premier League table going into 2014, while United are below expectations in 6th.

The German manager spoke about Mancini in a press conference ahead of the derby in the Capital One Cup semi-final first leg at Old Trafford, and this is what he had to say: "for me, Roberto is the best manager in the world right now, and it's an honour competing against him, like I will in the next match. If you look at what he's done in his career, especially with City, it's amazing, and he's not even 50 yet. He can go on and do anything he wants now, although he can't beat what he's managed to accomplish with City. A trophy a season since 2010-11 is great, especially in this league, and that is why I think he's the best in the world."

The derby in United's next match will be the second time Matthaus and Mancini have gone head-to-head, and in the first match, it was Matthaus who came out on top, with a 1-0 victory thanks to a late goal by winger Nani. He will be hoping for a larger margin of victory in the next match, so he can take a secure lead back to the Etihad in two weeks' time.
I agree with Matthaus, but my opinion of Mancini being a cunt remains. :P

I'm only in my second season! :P

I've just signed this French regen from Stade Rennais, wondering what you guys think of him? Bear in mind, he is actually younger than me lol

He's been absolutely awesome so far, as you'll see in the January update, he's won me a couple of games.

You're doing a great job with Manchester United, but i would never agree that Mancini is the best coach,in fact he's not in top 25 !!!
