Why: He's a great player and I needed him after I wanted to sell Howson and Viera, he was the man I wanted.
Wilfried Zaha
Why: I never could sign somebody to replace when Snodgrass departed in the summer and I am glad that it's him. One of the factors was that he scored a brace when I gave him his debut in the England match.
Chris Smalling
Why: With Doria returning back to Brazil on loan, we needed a defender. Russell Martin also left for Villa and Mbaye isn't PL quality yet. Plus, Bassong left us for the CONACAF which left us with Mbaye and Ogbonna as recognized centre-backs.
John Flanagan
Why: I was supposed to sign him for free this summer after he said he was leaving on a free transfer. I checked him out and he had an offer from Ipswich so I signed. Cover for Azpilicueta.
Luke Shaw
Why: Everybody knows him. With Pieters leaving out on loan and a permanent transfer looming in the summer, he will be the LB for years to come.
Thomas Ince
Why: Afellay leaving on loan and a permanent transfer looming in the summer, he will be the perfect replacement.
Erick Torres
Why: Destro has not been on form and with the PL title race very close, I can't afford any losses or draws.

Why: Great player and comparing him with Destro, they are the same thing. Another Destro on a free is great.
Philippe Coutinho
Why: Great player and I want him to train Terra (amazing regen). Could be one of the greats along with Isco.
Frank Lampard
Why: He left Chelsea and signed for Hercules. I want him to tutor either Barkley or Hughes and he'd be perfect. England legend as well. Hint: Gerrard might also join if his contract expires.
Jese
Why: A true Real Madrid prospect and I offered him a contract way before Real Madrid could.
