SUMMER TRANSFER ROUND-UP
Thoughts: Some would call it a bad transfer window because of some BIG departures, but I believe this is the right decisions and further updates shall show it. I got 55 million pounds of all these transfers

DEPARTURES


John Ruddy: To Wolves for a 14.25 million fee
Why: Wanted someone new and he isn't getting any younger. I think that you'll like the replacements.


Korey Smith: To Southampton for a 2.2 million fee
Why: Never had a chance to play for Norwich as his stats were bad and weren't up to the challenge.


Jack Butland: Loaned to Everton on a 100k p/m fee.
With my new arrivals, he wasn't getting any time and was loaned to Everton, where Howard is not a first-team player. Wish him the best of luck.


Lionel Galland: Loaned to Toulouse F.C. on a 275k p/m fee.
Why: A regen I picked up last year, and he always seem to get this fee no matter what.


Diego de Girolamo: Loaned to Fiorentina on a 220k p/m fee
Why: Youngster with loads of potentials and needs gaming time.


Axel Kacou: Loaned to Coventry
Why: He's been loaned to Coventry again, after he impressed them with conceding 50 goals in 40 apps. Pretty decent for a youngster.


Daniel Pacheco: Loaned to Sunderland on a 80k p/m fee.
Why: I wanted him to leave, but only Sunderland came knocking with a loan bid that I couldn't refuse.


Ibrahim Afellay: To Vitesse on a 4.4 million fee.
Why: He needed to leave and I gained some cash from his 5k transfer fee lol.


Jese: On loan to Espanyol
Why: Got him on a free because he's good, but I might play him next season or the next.


Erik Pieters: On loan at Reggina on a 40k p/m fee.
Why: Loaned him out last season as well, as his stats are disastrous.


Manolo Gabbiadini: Loaned to Newcastle on a 120k p/m fee.
Why: He needs to develop and with the arrivals of free players, he'll be a reserve player.


Angelo Ogbonna: To PSG on a 14.5 million fee
Why: He played good on his time here at Norwich, but he was 26 and not improving. He was a decent PL player and I wanted new defenders on the team.


Tomas Rincon: Loaned to Genoa C.F.C on a 60k p/m fee.
Why: Loaned him to Mallorca, and I can't seem to sell him. Loan it is.


Sebastien Bassong: To Manchester City on a 20 million fee.
Why: He is 29, and that's the best I could've asked for him. He was unwilling to retire from internationals, as I need every defender in the January-February month. This was a painful departure.

Good business to get what you did for Ruddy and Bassong. Who were your signings?

About time that this story came back. You have managed to get in a lot of money for those players, especially Ruddy and Bassong.

ARRIVALS
Thoughts: This was a highly succesfull window, with top players arriving for a top team as well :). We spent 77 million pounds in the summer transfer window.


Marc Andre Ter-Stegen: Arrives from Borrusia Mongendblach with on a 18.75 million fee.
Why: He's a great goalkeeper and had a nice asking price. Great player and will lead the club to glory.


Ryan Shawcross: Arrives from Stoke City on a 25 million fee.
Why: You might call this extremely over-priced, but it was the fastest transfer that I could do after Bassong joined City.


Mamadou Sakho: Arrives from Juventus on a 18.5 million fee.
Why: He was needed and was better than Ogbonna and to cough up an "extra 4 million pounds" was great for someone his quality.


Gaston Ramirez: Arrives from Southampton on a 14.25 million fee.
Why: He was transfer listed by request when Southampton went down. I had tabled a bid of 20 million the summer before, so to get him for that fee was an absolute steal.


FREEBIES
Frank Lampard: Arrives on a free from Hercules
Why: A great player in real life, and he has come to tutor the youngsters.


Jese: Arrives on a free from Real Madrid.
Why: A great player and on a free is great :D!


Seydou Doumbia: Arrives from CSKA Moscow on a free.
Why: Back-up to Destro and might take his spot if he mis-fires. Plus, he's a steal on a free. Finally, Erick Torres isn't playing his best.


Philippe Coutinho
Why: Great player and I want him to train Terra (amazing regen). Could be one of the greats along with Isco.
