The definite last deals
Arsenal have made their final signings of the transfer window, David Luiz from Chelsea for 35m, Jonny Evans from Manchester United for 32.5m with a 35m buy back clause, and also the big one Papiss Demba Cisse from Newcastle United for a staggering amount of 37 million pounds.
Papiss Cisse comes in for 37m due to the sale of Theo Walcott, this player will add pace, power and an absolutely monstrous finisher to the side
Papiss Demba Cissé (born 3 June 1985) is a Senegalese footballer, who plays as a striker for Newcastle United and the Senegal national team. He holds the record of most goals scored by an African player in a single Bundesliga campaign – 22 league goals in the 2010–11 season. That same season, Cissé won the EFFIFU award for being the most efficient striker in the league.
Next we have David Luiz from Chelsea for 35m, believed to be the main replacement for Laurent Koscielny who has moved to Manchester City for 27 million pounds.
David Luiz Moreira Marinho (born 22 April 1987), known as David Luiz, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays for Chelsea in the Premier League. Primarily a central defender, he can also be deployed as a left back and a defensive midfielder.
After starting out at Vitória, he moved to Benfica at the age of 19, remaining with the club five seasons (three complete). He joined Chelsea in January 2011, winning the Champions League and the FA Cup in the following season.
And the final signing for Arsenal is another defender, this time Jonny Evans from Manchester United, Wenger has said that he sees the wonderful potential this boy has and he hopes that he will reach it at Arsenal.
Jonathan Grant "Jonny" Evans (born 3 January 1988) is a Northern Irish footballer who plays as a defender for Manchester United and Northern Ireland. Evans was born in Belfast and started his career at Greenisland FC, where he was spotted by Manchester United scouts. He progressed through Manchester United's football Academy to play in several foreign tours in the summer of 2006. He then went on loan to Royal Antwerp and had two spells with Sunderland. He made his Manchester United first team debut in the 2007–08 League Cup, becoming a regular first-team squad member the following season. While playing for United, he has been their only Northern Irish first team player.
