well I don't remember exactly how much i paid or him because my save is on another computer but I will post an overview of my transfers during this week. But he was cheap. :)

This question is for the fellows who's managing bigger clubs. How many coaches do you have??

I know the smaller clubs won't allow that many coaches.

I have 22 coaches, great training reports - every 3-4 month one or two players have done bad to training. It's of course a lot of staff members and costly (no doubt) but the training categories are rated with all the stars possible.

I coach chelsea.
i use veloso for MC(left side) and he is quite good, especially he's marking and passes.

i have a problem though, my strikers (obafemi, drogba and shevchenko) were once the creme of the league but now its history. i have won all the competitions i ahve entered for in the past three years, but this season, 2010, there are not scroing the goals like before.
my team
GK-Cech/ cudicini
DR-paulo ferreira/gonzalo castro/belleti
DL-ashley cole/wayne bridge/clichy
DC-terry/Alex/carvalho
MC-lampard/ballack/veloso
MC- essien/riquelme/castrojoe cole
MR- joaquin/shaun-wright phillips/joe /villaluz
ML- malouda/giovani dos santos/salomon kalou/rafael sobis
FC-drogba/obafemi/shevchenko/asamoah gyan/cristian nazarith

i use 4-4-2, with an attacking mentality.

i want more goals. wat do i do

Hi guys,
Could do with some help on the tactics front. I currently play the following formation:

GK
DR DC DC DL
DM
MC
AMR SML
ST ST

I seem to score a decent amount of goals with the team that I am managing at the moment (West Bromwich Albion), but I cannot seem to control the amount of goals i am letting in and the only decent cb i have is meite. Does any one recommend a decent formation whic can score me a few goals without letting too many in. Or would you recommend some decent defenders?? Any help much appreciated

You can go for a 4-1-3-2
Meaning DR DC DC DL
DM
MR MC ML
ST ST

If you do it that way you have an anchor man and your other midfielders will also help in defense. If you feel you loose a lot of attacking options just set your MR MC ML to run into the attacking midfield positions. If you have a DM who is good in keeping the ball, make him hold up the ball so your players can run up to their attacking positions.
@william, you need to find good defenders of course :P

but try to make a tactic that suits ur current defenders.
Man City
just a normal 4-4-2 formation
played attacking mentality, direct passing, quick tempo, closing down whole pitch, defend deep...anything else just put it into normal

GK
DR DC DC DL
DM
MR MC ML
ST ST

with Arsenal at their home...i've made an upset with 4-0 margin (31 Jan 2010)
with Porstmouth at home...beat them 7-1(6 Feb 2010)
with Notthm Forest at home...4-0 (28 Feb 2010)
with Man Utd at their home...i've made an upset too with 4-0 margin(3 April 2010)
with Arsenal at home...4-1(22 Jan 2011)
with Barcelona...UCL final 5-1(28 May 2011)
Benfica 5-2 (UCL q-finals 2012)
West Brom 5-0 (fa cup final 2011/2012)
Chelsea 4-0 (home & away in 2012/2013)
Atc.Madrid 5-2(away 2012/2013)
Man Utd 4-0 (home 2012/2013)

i always won it between 4 or 5 goals margin
but against lower team...sometimes players were struggle because they are too confident
i've started this tactics in my 2nd season...2009/2010 against Arsenal
but sometimes u must change the tactics or rotate it
because your opponents can guess ur tactics soon
sometimes u also can lost no matter how many shots are you
sometimes shots total :25 lost against team shots:3
because sometimes their GK are too superb
well by looks of it, if you are playing that well against the good teams, maybe a more attacking formation could work against the lower teams, as they are less of a threat.

also you could try having a really good corner tactic, it guarentees you goals, i get a shedload of goals from corners.

try in-swinging corner to the 6 yard box, have your 2 cb's challenge gk, and other big player to stand on near post and a high off the ball player to attack far post, just in case it gets through.

hope it helps

Since i brought in all my own coaches i've never had a report of players failing to impress in training. I always get 7 star coaches but i make sure i get the ones with high discipline, determination, man management and motivation. It seems to do the trick for me :)

I need help with my napoli team:
GK: Asenjo/Ustari
LB:Mattock
CB:Sakho
CB:David Luiz
RB:Nelson/santon
RM: Maggio
CM(DM ish): Kacar
CM(AM ish): Buonotte(sp)
LM: Alex
ST:Denis/lewandowski/laurito
ST:Martins/sturridge/lavezzi

my strikers won't score, my defense leaks, and my team has 60-75% possesion! I'm currently competing for ch. league in season 2
have an attacking tactic

what can i do?
i used the corner thing and it got david luiz 8 goals but then 9.3 came out and it doesn;t work anymore.

Help?
ehm one good tactic away from home for you would be, counter attacking.

use target man, targetman supply run onto ball.

use fast strikers then.

try that for one tactic for strikers

dont put your fullbacks that attacking, especially away from home. just so they can help out in the defence.
I am currently playing fm with leeds, and I have come across a brick wall, with my 5 first choice strikers all out, I am left with a lively Jamacian youngster who I bought this season as a development type player, another player a AMR / ST who has done nothing in the slightest to impress me and has not scored any goals, and finally one of the 5 injured deigo tristan is hardly match fit and he is old so I don't want to rush him. My midfield in run pretty much by this person called Delph, who I named captain after his excellent performance last year scoring 17 goals from a cm position. But my form depends completly on weather he is doing good. I cannot seem to get the ball to my stand-in strikers enough and we always seem to lose out from set peices and long shots. My team is very young and is a bit experimental can anyone help me?
