I have to admit I thought becoming Adam Le Fondre was a strange choice for the manager of Reading. However, the story has started really well and I am sure a lot of us will be following this with keen interest. Keep it up.
Your formation is pretty weird mate! Good results though!
This is brilliant mate, unlucky with the injury to Pogrebnyak, but great results anyway. The signings are brilliant, especially Fischer and Montero, and I'm sure he'll be brilliant. Good Luck mate with future months! :)
UPDATE: Due to a corrupt save, i have had to re-load the game from 2 weeks previous to where I was this has resulted in, Pogrebnyak being fit again, sorry, feel like it's ruined the story a bit but it's against my power.
Unlucky :( I hope you will keep going with great determination because this story has great promise!
That's unfortunate. Corrupt data is such a pain!

I love the twist you have given this story. How are you going about doing it in game? Do you just have you and the real Le Fondre on the same Reading save?

1 win from 4 in the English Premier League for Reading this month, Tough opposition in the form of Chelsea and Stoke(away), and Tottenham(Home) Proved to be too much to handle. A 1-0 win over West Brom was the only bright patch in the League, But Reading must look to improve now, and not get in a rut off the back of the 3 loses. Progression elsewhere though as they enjoyed near total domination over a lackluster Leicester side. Reading took control early with a goal after just 3 minutes and there was no looking back for the Royals the win has taken Reading through to the Capital One Cup 4th Round.

Le Fondre has demanded the team must improve and become fearless, He said they lossed the games to Tottenham and Chelsea going into game having no belief and already expecting to lose. Le Fondre want the squad to gain belief and he says the team is capable of beating any team in the league if they perform to the standards he expects.

League Table

Not the best month, but it'll improve :)

Yeah, I plan on not selling him, and not leaving Reading until Le Fondre retires, Gives a good and great amount of time to build reading into a top force :)

Le Fondre Demands Focus

In a Pre-Match Press Conference today, Adam Le Fondre demanded his Royals enter the game against Manchester City with the fearless mentality he called for after defeats to Tottenham & Chelsea.

Press: You enter this match against City who are currently in-form and top of the league, How do you plan to take anything from this match?

Le Fondre: A few weeks ago, I called for my players to enter any game knowing they an get a result and that is what we will look for today. I hope my team can go out, keep possession and play the football I know we are capable of.

Press: Sergio Aguero has been in inspired form for his club, do you intend to set special instructions to your players to cut his influence out of the game?

Le Fondre: Absolutely not, Although everybody can clearly see Sergio's immense quality, A football match is played over 90 minutes, with 22 men on the field it would be foolish to think that targeting 1 player will get you the results. I have full confidence in my back four and with the performances of Alex Pearce recently I have no reason to fear.

Press: How will you look to inspire your team going into such a David vs Goliath challenge?

Le Fondre: I will tell the team, to look back over the years in the Premier League and look at all the magnificent and wonderful victories, the 'little' clubs have gained over the 'big' clubs, and tell them it goes to show that in football anything is possible and Manchester City are far from unbeatable, and that their squad and defense is anything but impenetrable. That will be all for today Thankyou.

Reading fans and Le Fondre have no right to have anything to smile about this month, What looked a promising month with a 3-0 victory over Fulham turned into a month of despair with Reading leaking in 15 goals in all competitions. Le Fondre has released a statement apologising to fans of the club with the recent performances and is doing everything possible to get an improvement in the coming month. Le Fondre has claimed he is distraught with the team, and has motivated the team to bounce back from this month with a passion.

League Table

3-points away from the drop zone after a very unpleasant month for the Royals.
Horrible losses against Man City and Reading, but I'm sure you can break into the top half if you keep getting better results :)
Nice start. Unlucky on the corrupt save, but you've bounced back well and carried on regardless. Some nice results at the start of the season, and some thumping defeats which are hard to take. But things change in time, and you just have to keep focus.

Keep it up =)

I hope so too, to be honest i hope it does get better got rid of most of the top teams, only arsenal and liverpool really, can get results from any games but the rest should hopefully be a little simpler
Great story, very well done. Don't give up, I'm sure the results will pick up :)
