Le Fondre leads Reading in more way than one

Le Fondre struck twice today and despite his torment on the QPR defence was only able to battle Rangers into a tough fought draw.

Things looked grim for Reading as on 70 minutes they were 2-0 down at the Madejski and looked set for another loss due to their lack of incisiveness goal but with a controversial sub of himself for Pavel Pogebnyak after 72 minutes played, Le Fondre smashed home a 21-yard strike to give him side a glimmer of hope. This looked to be a turning point in the game with Readings play becoming more vibrant and fluid coming in to the last 10 minutes in the game. But when Mariappa struck the post in the 82nd minute and Samba brought down an incoming Kebe, Referee Mark Clattenberg had no choice but to point to the spot. Le Fondre stepped up, slotted the ball into the net very calmly and sent Cesar completely the wrong way. Le Fondre picked up his first Man of the Match award of this season and after the game expressed his delight at the fighting spirit shown by his team over the last 20 minutes. "My team were unstoppable over the last 20 minutes of the game, Unfortunately that wasnt the case for the whole game or we could have and should have taken the whole 3-points which we greatly needed. It's always a delight to come on and make such an impact, I was watching from the sidelines and Pogrebnyak had his head down and was looking sloppy. I knew I had to bring myself on, It was the right thing to do".

Adrian Mariappa described Le Fondre as being one of the most 'influential' managers he has ever came across and explained his half-time team talk was what pushed the team to grab the point.
Great update mate! It must be weird to be a player/manager!

Great month despite the losses to Arsenal and Wigan the Royals have pulled off another great result against Manchester United and claimed 13-points this month, which is outstanding for a club tipped for relegation, The Royals are challenging for Europa League places now and Le Fondre has silenced all critics who claimed his appointment as manager was a terrible decision.

League Table

Showing the red cards on every post... you must expect some dirty games if you're expecting a red card every few days. :P

A nice story Le Fondre, keep it up! :P
Did you beat Southampton or lose? You have the green dot indicating you won but then the score says you lost?

Decent results. Well done.

Le Fondre hopes for January Signings and looks to free transfer market for the summer

Adam Le Fondre has claimed he would love to add to the squad but due to his high transfers in the summer has been left with a very small budget, Le Fondre has said he is looking at David Ospina, he OGC Nice keeper is out of contract in the summer and Le Fondre has admitted his is an admirer of the spaniards talents. Lisandro Lopez an Argentinian international from Arsenal de Sarandi is another target on the free transfer also out of contract in the summer and Le Fondre is keen to add to bulk his defence which has leaked 36 goals this season the 3rd highest amount of any team.

Lisandro Lopez has made 4 caps for Argentina and at just 23 looks set to have a bright future for his international team.

David Ospina has made 21 appearances for Colombia and is a regular for his national side, He has been attracting the interest of teams such as Milan and Napoli in recent times.

Adam Le Fondre continued, he did not yet know if any players would be leaving the club but that would need to be the case for players to be brought in of value.
