December

A great month for the club! The previous month we were 6 points off top but now it's just one and we have games in hand against those below us. We were knocked out on penalties in the Surrey Cup which means now we can focus all our attention on promotion!

Carshalton set a new league record

Player Of The Month

Ola continues to impress despite some off his stats. 15 goals in 17 league games has kept the club challenging for the league.

League Table

Carshalton are 2nd, 2 points of 1st
Nice one mate! You are on fire :)
Great last few games mate. Now to make a push for the title.

January

Another fantastic month for the club despite finally losing after a league record of 21 games! A huge victory vs 2nd place Wealdstone at home put us right up in the title race and then we followed that up with 4 wins from the next 5 games! A great Month!

Player Of The Month

Our main striker Ola Sogbanmu has grabbed all the headlines in recent weeks and Paul Vines has slipped under the radar despite some magnificent preformances. 17 goals in 26 league games has put Vines 2nd in the leagues top goalscorers, just behind Ola Sogbanmu.

Those Average ratings xD. Domination.
Just Finished league, big update tomorrow guys!!

End Of Season Update

So I have decided to do an end of season update consisting of 2 months rather than do them both individually. The last 2 months decided who won the title, which clubs got promoted and who suffered the heartbreak of another long season in the same division.

CHAMPIONS!!!!

Promotion and the league title was secured during the two months which wrapped up a historical season for Carshalton. The Robins won each of their 5 games in March which put them 10 points clear at the top coming into the final month of the season. However after their away defeat to Margate the bookies had expected the young team to fold and surrender their lead. 4 Days later a scrappy away win against Whitehawk, and the fact that Wealdstone lost on the same day meant that Carshalton were just 3 points from securing the Ryman Premier Division, their first league title since 2002. The penultimate game came against struggling Hampton and Richmond. The Robins played the game and not the occasion as they strolled to a 4-2 win before their die hard fans invaded the pitch! They could afford to finish the season with poor results including their first home defeat of the season.

Pre-Season Interview

Reporter : Congratulations on your first trophy as manager of Carshalton! You must be thrilled with how your team preformed this season?

Gary : The lads were absolutely incredible, I honestly couldn't have asked for more. They were written off at the start of the season and they proved everybody wrong. We cant rest on our laurels though, we must push on again next season.

Reporter : The Blue Square Bet South is a much more competitive league and many suggest you will dip into the market and improve the squad. What is your goals for the season and how true are these statements?

Gary : I think if you want to compete at the highest level you have to improve all the time. As I said the boys have done great but there will still be tough decisions made regarding players futures. The goal for the season? Personally I want to remain in the league,Improve the club's stature and then push on the following season, any else is a bonus.

Reporter : Finally Gary I'd like to congratulate you on signing your new contract with the club and wish you the best of luck in your coming season.

Gary : Cheers mate.
Nice interview there :)
Good luck in the new league!

August

A really strong start for the club in the new division. An unbeaten month showing that the team is hard to break down and well able to put it up to everyone else. Ola Sogbanmu again fired in the goals with a magnificant 4 goals in 5 games.

Good start to your new league :)
Is there much people following this story? It takes a lot of time to do up the replies and I want to see is it worth it for the amount of followers. Thanks
It doesn't matter who's following, if you enjoy playing the save and writing the story you should continue. And, I'm always following, of course... :P
