May

Although that defeat vs Chelmsford, another good month for the club as we keep up our title challenge. It's very tight at the top and to be honest it could go any way. It's between Ourselves, Brackley and Bath. We played Brackley this month and I was happy not to lose the game. Next month a possible title decider against Bath could prove vital.In other news we reached the final of the Surrey Cup. Maybe a possible double at the end of the season?

League Table

Carshalton are 1st, 2 points ahead of 2nd
Good work keeping on top there Dean :)
At least you're still on top :D Haven't followed this story for awhile but I'll be following now. Good luck!

The Final Push

Disaster, Complete and utter Disaster. The build up to the biggest game of the season vs Bath must have got to our players as we were completely humiliated. Tea cups were reportedly thrown in the dressing room after the game as Gary Neville believes his side has "Handed the title to Bath". That result has put Bath top only on goal difference but after Carshalton's emphatic win vs Basingstoke there is just 3 goals seperating both sides who aim to secure automatic promotion to the Blue Square Premier next season. The final game for both clubs will be extremely nervy . Carshalton face already relegated Dorchester at home with the hope of putting as many goals past them as possible, while Bath face a tricky away tie vs 18th place Eastbourne Boro.

League Table

Carshalton are 2nd, 3 goals behind 1st
Great update, but holy hell, Brackley isn't far behind. Keep pushing!

The Final Game

Hello and welcome all to we are joined here on this fine day by both George Bonham and Brian Doheny from The Non League Paper. George will be keeping us up to date with Carshaltons game with Dorchester and Brian will be viewing Bath's game against Eastbourne. The build up has been immense, the title is on the line, as the teams begin to walk out onto the pitch the talking will stop and in the next 90 minutes we will find out who will be crowned Blue Square South champions.

AL = Alan Lynch - News reporter
GB = George Bonham
BD = Brian Doheny

GB 1' - And were off at the War Memorial Ground. Carshalton in their usual red up against the black of Eastbourne. Both teams have set up with their usual 442 formations.No real suprises from either manager with their lineout, perhaps some expected Columbian Victor Caecido to feature but The Robins manager decided to field vetern Paul Vines. Gary Neville is immediately out on the line encouraging his players. What a huge day this could be for him.

BD 1' - As we expected line up wise, Bath have come here expecting to secure the league title. They just have to equal Carshaltons result as their goal difference is superior. Opening minute and they have knocked the ball around nicely, you'd swear they were playing at home.

AL - We have just heared out a big chance early on down at the War Memorial Ground, who's it gone to George?

GB 20' - Yeah it was Carshalton's. A great run down the line by Paul Mcbride who put in a sensational ball to Paul Vines at the backpost. He headed it into the side netting, although some fans though it had gone in. Carshalton have looked the better team, they have created chances, passed it around well and to be honest.....Oh chance, TRAYNOR! It's 1-0 Alan. Sensational! Out of nothing a long range effort flies in! Can you hear these fans??

AL - Amazing scenes and have the Bath fans caught word of this?

BD - Yeah you could hear a pin drop here and you can see its effecting the players. Eastbourne have just had a great chance and are now on top.

AL - Its Halftime in both games and at the moment Carshalton will be crowned champions!

AL - The second half's have just began and we will bring you more news as soon as it comes............ We've heard that Brian's got some goal news for us! Who has it gone to?

BD - Eastbourne! You couldnt write this! I said they were on top and it looks like Bath are malfunctioning! Amazing!

GB 82'- The Robins fans have just got the news! "We are going up is the chant". They are absolutly ecstatic. Dorchester have grown into the game though, they have a free kick in a threatning position. Here it comes....GOAAAAAAAAL!!! They're back in it!

AL - So just to confirm, if Bath can find a goal, they will be crowned champions if Dorchester hold Carshalton. What's the latest Ryan?

BD 88'- The fans dont know what to do, they are cheering as they know about Dorchester but they still need a goal. Its been constant pressure and I wouldn't be shocked if they found one. Nice passing move here now from they,someone needs to step up to the plate. A hopeful ball launched into the box , ohh a mix up...GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THEY'VE DONE IT! HORRIBLE DEFENDING BUT BATH HAVE SCORED!

AL - It's all over at the war memorial ground, Bath are champions!

Unfortunate on missing out on the title, but confident you'll win the playoffs :)

We Are Going Up!

After the disappointment of losing the league title on the last day, we bounced back emphatically, coasting past Billericay in the semis. We were then paired with Brackley, a team who also had pushed for the title. It was a very difficult game but Harry Harding put the Robins in front in the first half. Brackley equalized just before half time. No more goals were scored and the match went to penalties! After no misses from the first 10 penalties, Brackley hit the post. This meant that when former Chelsea right back Seidu dispatched his penalty, the Robins were promoted! The Surrey Cup was also won easily ending a memorial season for Carshalton who will be now just 1 league away from the Football League

Brilliant job Gary Nev!

Hahaha never even noticed! Filthy boy ;)

What you guys think of this youngester?
Came through academy this year and scored a hattrick in surrey cup final.

Looks fantastic - a potential Premier League star? ;)
To be honest, I don't know if he is good enough yet or not because I have no idea what is good for the BSS, but for the future *Eats head off* ;)
