A.) No... it's just not very nice to hit other people's players
B.) He was losing 7-1 to his biggest rivals and was about to lose his job. His team is overpaid and stupid :) Poor guy. Still, he deserved it

Unfortunately, as a Civil Engineering student, I love math and math teachers... Mine were all pretty legendary

Fair enough, but mine(one guy out of my 3 Math teachers, the other two are awesome) smokes so much that you cough for a minute every time he passes you by in class. Also, he doesn't really teach much at all. :P

HAJDUK WIN THE DOUBLE
HAJDUK 2-1 OSIJEK
OSIJEK 1-1 HAJDUK
A magnificent Hajduk took out Osijek in the final.

It wasn't all clean sailing though. Hajduk won the first leg by a hair. Alekši? opened early for Osijek, but couldn't capitalize at Poljud. They would've been thrilled if they could've held it, but Bendiš wasn't having it. Mijo ?aktaš rushed up the left before placing the ball past the keeper... and it looked like it would be a draw before League Golden Boot and (nearly UEFA CL Golden Boot) Croatian Cup Top Goalscorer got on the end of a cross to score the winner in the 92nd minute.

In the second match Osijek scored first again. Opening it up in the second half, and, at that point, winning the cup on away goals. It was against the run of play though, and Hajduk was more than happy to take it home. Osijek lost it as Mirko Oremuš took his chance and scored the equalizer, 1-1, but 3-2 for the double.

With the double, Hajduk move up in the rankings to the top 50 clubs in Europe, at exactly 50th place.

"This is Hajduk's league and cup to lose to be honest... We are in the best position to win the trophy every year, and with it, we can continue impressing. All the credit to Osijek. They wanted it a lot, and took us to the very end, but we are the best team in Croatia, and we can only continue improving. I love this club, and we're going to take it as far as we can, no matter what the odds against are"

Croatia also moved up in Champions League Seedings, as the winner of the league next season doesn't need to deal with the shenanigans in the lower-league qualifications. Second placed will feature a club in the 3rd qualifying stage.

3rd, 4th, and 5th place all qualify for a spot in the Europa League, which is funny... since the league only has 10 teams in it...

MEANWHILE... ARSENAL WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
In Arséne Wenger's last match as manager, he lifted the Champions League trophy, finishing up his trophy closet, and leading Arsenal, with easily one of the best squads in Europe to the world stage.

But what a way to go. Arsenal slaughtered Barcelona, 3-1 in Cardiff, with goals from Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko and Keisuke Honda, as Barcelona simply couldn't answer back.

TRANSFER SEASON SO FAR FOR HAJDUK
Goran Milovi? left to Moscow in a high profile switch... with his agent most notably being exiled from his hometown. For 6 million euros, it was Hajduk's principal business of the summer.

However, with Bendiš trying to buy from home, he needed a defender. See, even last summer, Hajduk was struggling with defensive problems, with Antonio Mili? frequently falling back to cover for the lack in defenders, especially with Ivan Graf leaving for Poland last summer. (Ivan Graf won the Polish Ekstraklasse to continue his fairytale...)

But this season, Bendiš has operated properly. Marin Ljubi?i? came in as cover for Antonio Mili? as a DM. It's really one of those "just in case" deals... but Ljubi?i? is an excellent player, coming in from Tavria in Ukraine after 4 seasons abroad.

Bendiš also brought back Josip Elež from NK Zagreb. Zagreb did take 500 000 for the defender, who left on a free from Hajduk 2 years ago. It is really a continuation of the trend where Bendiš is bringing back former Hajduk players to the club.

http://i39.tinypic.com/2cnz6m0.jpg

Hajduk needed more though, as Bendiš didn't want the repeat of last season, where he conceded a whole bunch of goals, ceding the lead to Zadar before the smaller club messed up late in the season.

Bendiš didn't want that again, so he hijacked Osijek's transfer for Dino Kluk, a trasnfer that is being hailed as "Ivan Graf version 2.0" Klok was signed from NK Solin for only 65 000 €. He's been brought up from the small leagues, and perhaps, he can make a step up... follow Graf's footsteps.

http://i44.tinypic.com/2r25276.jpg

But, by far the most notable transfer of the window was when Mario Ti?inovi? signed from Denmark. Forced to leave back in 2011 under difficult financial circumstance, Ti?inovi? did manage to win the Danish Super League back in 2012, and, while it may be viewed as an extravagance, Bendiš has signaled waves throughout the continent, as he hopes to return Hajduk to the world stage.

http://i43.tinypic.com/21dospf.jpg

But probably the biggest news of the window was when the top 100 Richest Club were announced. Hajduk, with it's strict financial regimen and tiny expenditure has finally, in the first time in history, made the list, at #97

MEANWHILE... IN THE REST OF THE WORLD
Victor IBARBO - CAGLIARI -› FC BAYERN MüNCHEN (26 M €)
Kyriakos PAPADOPOLOUS - SCHALKE 04 -› SEVILLA FC (9.5 M €)

For managers, Arséne Wenger retired, after winning his first ever Champions League title in his last match... and, ironically, was replaced by Pep Guardiola

And Bendiš was offered the job at Shakhtar Donetsk. He rejected it and accepted a contract renewal at Hajduk at 10 times his former wage. He is now paid 215 000 € per year.
YEAH BABY YEAH!!!

WELCOME TO NYON

"I, Michel Platini, would like to welcome everyone to the Group Stage Draw for the UEFA Champions League, 2015/2016. Arsenal FC, on the backs of Arséne Wenger won the Champions League, and it is with great pleasure that we welcome him today to help us with the draw."

Bendiš sitting at his seat, happily drinking a scotch, with his assistant sitting next to him. The rest of the coaching staff was upstairs, with Hajduk's newest U19 additions, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Raúl having a good time in the upper level of the auditorium. None of them were showing what could be called composure, and had to be shushed by some of the other coaches as Platini started speaking. Not that anyone listened to Michel... but anyway... it was their first time in Nyon, so they kinda shushed.

"and the pick for Group B is Real Madrid. The 10 time Champions are still under José Mourinho, while Cristiano Ronaldo is still making an excellent run for the Golden Ball award"

Still, no one was listening, Andrijaševi? (Bendiš's assistant manager) was taking a few notes and chatting with Bendiš. Everyone was having a good time...

---

"Olympique de Marseille join Manchenster City in Group A. The English champions face off against the improbable French Champions, who beat PSG to get to the title by 9 points. Quite the achievement from the Southerners. They only have one French player in the first team though, Steve Mandanda, the captain"

quietly, Bendiš nudged Andrijaševi?, "That's going to be a good group, Marseille is good", who retorted "They'd be better if they weren't as lazy as we were". Laughter ensued.

---

"FC København join Napoli and Manchester United in Group G. The Danish champions are having an excellent few years, and beat Vojvodina to make it to the Group Stages."

A slightly more drunk Gerrard, Carragher and Raúl were going through fits of laughter over some excellent joke over the Danes. Bendiš and Andrijaševi? weren't exactly sober either, by this time, no one in Monaco was listening to Platini

---

"And, now, the Croatian Champions Hajduk (Bendiš and Andrijaševi? were laughing hysterically) have been drawn into Group D (more hysterical laughter, this time coming from the balcony), joining Arsenal, Paris Saint Germain, and Juventus.

Silence.

Bendiš, Andrijaševi?, Raul, Carragher, and Gerrard looked blankly at the screen, as their team name popped up, and watched the graphics master move the team to the bottom of Group D... the strongest group of the lot...

Complete silence. The entire auditorium had turned to a stunned Bendiš and Andrijaševi?...

"ummm... the Croatian champions managed to make it past the Group stage last season, holding Real Madrid to draws twice, before knocking out Ajax Amsterdam. They beat the Makedonian and Slovenian Champions to make it to the group stage. Next season, Croatia gets one team seeded 3rd in the Group stage"

The camera panned over to Bendiš and Andrijaševi?, who looked completely dumbfounded. Bendiš had dropped his glass, and it hit the table, and started spinning. It panned over to the U19 coaches, who sported similar expressions. No one expected that bad of a group... but this was something else.

And then, Bendiš and Andrijaševi? both lit a cigarette and sat, staring into the distance... wondering how that could have possibly gone worse...
