January Transfer Updates

After having highlighted two players I wanted to sign, I set about trying to bring them both in. I was the first club to offer Garmash a contract but 6 more followed and he had a lot to choose from. This wasn’t going to be an easy choice for him but day by day my hopes of signing him faded.

In the end he decided to sign for Villareal and I was gutted.

This blow was softened by the signing of Prince Boateng and he has already played a couple of games for me. One more signing followed from Empoli. 16-year-old goalkeeper Christian Benetti joined for a compensation fee of €750,000 and he would be first choice keeper in 5 years by my reckoning.

A fantastic couple of updates Krupesh. A deserved win of SotM.

Well, it hasn't been confirmed yet but it's getting pretty obvious you're going to win :P

League Table

A great month for us spoiled by 3 draws in a row at the end. One of those draws though was outrageously important and 4 away goals would be amazing for us back in Lyon. We started the month with 4 clean sheets and this run of fixtures has allowed us to extend our lead at the top to 7 points. The injury to Maxime Gonalons is serious though and he is out for 2 months. He’s been one of our most consistent performers and I just hope we don’t struggle as a result.
4-4? :)) And a great win over P$G too :D
