Top of the leader boards for everything, nice work k1. However I amazed that a SCOTT managed to eclipse Cristiano Ronaldo.

It was time to take a well-earned holiday and it was the summer of the World Cup. That meant my family and I were only going to one place: Brazil. It would give me a chance to see how my players would perform on the biggest stage and also enjoy the wonders of Brazil and the amazing culture, food and music!
The groups were pretty competitive and it was fantastic to see France top theirs to make the next round.
After watching the French draw with Greece, they were set up against Iran. A comfortable 3-0 win for Les Bleus.
The smaller names were being weeded out at this point in the tournament and we were left with the big guns. France were drawn against Portugal and the whole world knows the danger posed by Cristiano Ronaldo.
It was at this hurdle France fell. Portugal, and Ronaldo in particular, were just too strong. I was pleased with Gonalons and Benzia as both played crucial parts in getting France to this stage.
A European final took place. Germany vs Portugal, some of the biggest footballing names about to battle and Germany were the favourites. They proved everybody right and controlled the match.
It was a great final to watch and a great tournament to be at with my family. Benzia perhaps had the best tournament out of all my players that had been selected as he won an award for his exploits.
