Transfer Update

We approached the end of the 2014 and welcomed the January transfer window. With my new Brazilian scout Pedro Fidalgo we scoured Brazil for any youngsters with expiring contracts. Fortunately, we found a couple of deals.

One of them was defensive midfielder Lucio, who we snapped up from Cruzeiro, in Brazil. This kid looks the birghtest talent of the two we signed, and he is only twenty so he has room to grow. He has great heading and tackling abilities so I might train him up to be a centre back in the near future.


The next player we signed was from Vitoria, a team with very good youth facilities. His name is Preguinho. He can play in a range of positions all over the midfield, up the wings and even in striker. His versatility may prove key.

Both these players will join on January 1 2015.

Lucio looks great, but maybe a bit small to be a centre back no?

Lucio looks great. Brazilians are known to be injury-prone though, so be careful. Don't put all your hope on Lucio. There are other players who can do equally good

Season Three: December

After last months brilliant form, we were climbing up the table. But could this month be the month where we make a serious challenge for the title? Only one way to find out.



No we couldn't. We were absolute cat piss. No wins, only three draws and a loss. What a bad way to finish the year. We just couldn't keep leads and when we went down we couldn't recover from being behind. What an awful, awful way to end it. I'm disappointed more than anything.

League table

Those draws against lowly opposition are costing us. UD Oliveirense took advantage of our horrible form by picking up points and overtaking both Belenenses and us. The loss to CD Aves sends us further down the table and them further ahead, it is looking like a two horse race already.
