Valencia To Sign Rosicky
Valencia have completed the signing of former Arsenal and Dortmund midfielder
Tomas Rosicky on a
free transfer. The attacking midfielder was released by Arsenal at the end of last season and was unable to find a new club until Valencia snapped him up.
Rosicky has signed a
6 month contract with an option to extend at the end of his current deal and has been training with Valencia for around a week before he signed the deal.
Manager Pep Guardiola is excited about his new signing and hopes that he can provide cover and also bring ability into the squad.
“He is a top player” said Guardiola.
“He has had bad luck with injuries in the past but recently he had a great season with Arsenal in 2012 and was one of their best players that year. He has good experience in the Champions League and in top leagues and he will be a big addition to the side”.
Unfortunately Rosicky will not be able to play until January as he can’t be registered until then but he was still happy to have found a new club.
“I admire this club a lot” said Rosicky.
“They have a big history and I hope I can help them out this season. I want to play football and be the best I can be. I want to get the team back into the Champions League for next season so they can play at the top level again”.
“It has not been the best start for them this season but I know we can improve climb up the table”.
Many fans are happy that such an experienced player has joined the club and will hope his ability and experience in football can bring back some silverware to Valencia.
