No real point appointing Winnie Lind was there? :P
2013-07-24 14:11#122390 The Special one : Not a fan of the collar, still a really good story. However I seem to recall you saying you head a budget of £37 million on the chat.

I have sold some players (will be announced soon) and that budget was incorporated into the £37M.

Actually yes, and for two reasons.

1) Eye candy for the lads, because the others are mingers.

2) Stats wise, she's the best coach!
All of those women are going to be mothers in 9 months with the same father. Except Winnie Lind.

TEN PLAYERS GET FRIMPONGED

Emmanuel Frimpong may have only recently been announced as manager, his first ever spell in football coaching or managing, but he already seems to have an idea of what he wants to achieve, and has sold no less than 10 players, bringing in a massive £74 million, with Napoli allowing every penny to go back into the transfer budget, meaning Frimpong would make a massive £99 million to spend on transfers to get his squad perfect.

The first to leave was Federico Fernandez, joining VfB Stuttgart for £3 million. The 23 year old defender joined Napoli just last year, but Napoli have in fact managed to make a £400k profit after he played just 16 games. The next player to leave Napoli was Pablo Armero, who was bought in this window by Rafa Benitez. Nevertheless, Frimpong seemed to not want to include Armero, who has now joined Paris Saint-Germain for £17 million before playing a game for Napoli.

Armero wasn't the only star to go to France, as AS Monaco FC splashed out £25 million in order to sign Camilo Zuniga, the 26 year old defender, and Italian Christian Maggio. Zuniga cost Monaco £13.5 million while the newly promoted Ligue One side had to fork out £11.5 million for Maggio. Both were considered key players under Rafa Benitez, so fans will have to wait and see what changes Frimpong has in mind.

Gordon Pandev is another big name who has left the club, joining Manchester City for a fee of £14 million. Pandev has recently been on a season long loan at the club, and after impressing Benitez, he was signed for £6.5 million. Nevertheless, before he was able to play again, Emmanuel decided to sell the striker for a large profit. Walter Gargano is the final star to leave for a large fee. Costing Inter Milan £12 million, the 28 year old had been with Napoli for five seasons, playing over 150 games!

Meanwhile, 21 year old Luigi Sepe has joined Serie B side Latina on a season long loan, with Emanuale Allegra also leaving on loan, to join L'Aquila. Uruguayan defender Miguel Britos has joined Greek club PAOK for £1.4 million, with Mario Santana joining Atlanta for the same fee.

It is expected Emmanuel Frimpong will begin spending his large budget very soon, due to the lack of squad depth for the upcoming friendlies, and many believe he already has a wealth of targets in mind.
Clearly, they weren't dench. ;)
WOW, That's a lot of players, also great work with GIMP ( I think it's GIMP). That's a ridiculous some of money. Nice work mate.
You need to buy more football rappers like Ryan Babel ;)

Thank you, and it's Paint.NET (basically the same, but better than GIMP) :P

Prepare for the spending spree soon then!

If I was going to buy football rappers, it could only be John Barnes!

BARCA BOYS BRING BRILLIANCE

After the sales of ten players, Emmanuel Frimpong has begun to dig into the transfer market, and has certainly done so in style, spending £39 million on top of the range, FC Barcelona players. The early buys have shown that Frimpong certainly mean business, and with signings this good so early on, Napoli fans could be expecting more of the soon now.

The first player from FC Barcelona signed was Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez. Sanchez joined for a fee of £26 million after just one season in Spain. Sanchez had previously played for Udinese, but in 2011, £23 million was paid to make him a Barcelona player. However, after 11 goals and even more assists in 25 games, he had done enough to impress Emmanuel Frimpong, meaning he was happy to pay the large transfer fee. Surprisingly, Alexis Sanchez will only be earning £64k a week in a deal ending in 2017, and Napoli fans will be hoping Sanchez continues to dazzle with his dribbling and flair, beating players with his trickery and speed.

The next player to sign from Los Cules is fellow winger Cristian Tello. The Spaniard, currently 21, joined for a considerably smaller fee of £6.5 million, who is in fact a product of the state of the art youth academy at Barcelona. Tello joined Espanyol in 2008 after being released from Barcelona, but after two seasons resigned for the Catalan club, on another free transfer, where he began again in the B team. Last season he was given his big chance, and scored 3 goals in 15 games for the first team, showing off his pace, finishing and agility, which were enough to give Tello a vital move, which is likely to see him get regular first team football.

And finally, central defender Marc Bartra is the latest signing for SSC Napoli, also for a fee of £6.5 million. Bartra, also 21 and from Spain has played for Barcelona since 2006, and after playing the odd game coming off the bench for the first team in 2010, showed he definitely had the potential. This led to many focusing on his career with the B team, and he certainly impressed, becoming a regular known for his solid tackling and leadership, but also positioning and off the ball work.

All three will be hoping to impress early on in pre-season to earn that golden role in the first team, and with a total fee of £39 million paid for all three, fans can expect to see them regularly appearing very soon. But with a good £60 million left to spend, who else will Frimpong bring to Napoli?
Quality update, again so in depth! Just keep doing what your doing!
