Founded in 1905, Chelsea are a London based club currently playing in the English Premier Division. They play their home games at Stamford Bridge & have fierce rivalry with Millwall, Tottenham Hotspur & West Ham United. The Blues have a history they can be proud of, winning the English top division four times, the Cup Winners Cup twice & another fourteen domestic honours including the FA Cup, Community Shield & English League Cup.

July 2011

"The Chelsea Board have announced the appointment of Chris Borg as the club's new manager looking to provide stability & way forward to being the best team in Europe. Funded by Russian owner Roman Abramovich, Borg has been offered a two-year contract at 31,000 euros p/w and has been promised the full backing of the club's board.

The last two weeks have been a nightmare in the Chelsea camp with Andres Villas-Boas being appointed as Carlo Ancelotti's replacement, only to resign after less than two weeks. It has been reported that club captain John Terry was talking to his wife during the welcoming party & things escalated from there. Whatever happened Villas-Boas' short stay should be ignored and the focus is now on the upcoming season with new manager Chris Borg looking to make his mark in English Football."

The Chelsea board have already made some summer signings, most notably Juan Mata and have already started looking at targets for 2012. Apart from this, manager Chris Borg has been assigned 25 million euros for his own personal targets. The backroom staff will be kept & Roberto Di Matteo will also retain his post as Assistant Manager.

Pre-Season July/August 2011

News

Salomon Kalou signs new three year deal worth 10 million keeping him at the club until 2014. Also brought in two new backroom staff members, Coach Franco Baldini & Youth Coach Brian Eastick. Club captain John Terry & vice-captain Frank Lampard will both be staying at the club amidst various rumours and both will have a major role to play this campaign. A great preseason with seven wins & a draw, scoring an impressive 26 goals and only conceding one, giving all players a chance to show their worth. With some movement in the transfer market to fine-tune the squad, this looks like it is going to be a memorable season where we will aim to challenge on all four fronts, playing attacking football and bringing more trophies & success to our club. Stamford Bridge box-office has also today confirmed that we have sold 22,000 season tickets as the 2011/12 season is about to kick off.

Josh McEachran pulled his hamstring & will be out for 2-3 weeks.
Branislav Ivanovic out for 6-7 weeks with a double hernia.

The fitness coaches at Chelsea are poor at the start of the game, I replaced them with 2 excellent English coaches Paul Winsper and Adrian Lamb, both free agents, have a look at them. Assign one to strengh and one to fitness and you have 5 stars in each.

Franco Baldini makes a great Assistant manager, better then Matteo, I let Matteo's contract expire before promoting Baldini, also Valter Di Salvo and Massimo Neri worth a look at.
#56614 raypangea : hi mate, may i know what kind of training are you using?

To tell you the truth that is something i would like to know more about too. I kinda leave it to a medium to hard level and make amendments to the training focus with certain players that need to improve an aspect of their game. Hope you enjoying the story. August/September update up today.
Cheers Terrence hope you enjoying the story, i might come back to check out those coaches at a later date. What does Franco Baldini do differently than Di Matteo?

He's better at training your players, gives better advice, will win more reserve team games which will keep there moral higher, and if he ever has to take over press conferences of first team games he's gonna do a better job.

Good story so far.

A decent start to the Premier League season with four wins from six matches, really unlucky in the opener where Dimitar Berbatov scored the winning goal for Manchester United in the 94th minute denying us of a fought for point. Fulham turned us over, but great results elsewhere. Some tough fixtures now to come with a trip to the Emirates & to the City of Manchester Etihad Stadium. Youngster Jacob Mellis gets the npower Championship's Young Player of the Month of August award whilst on loan with Derby County. Also, spaniard Fernando Torres claims the September Premier League Player of the Month award after some great performances before getting injured. Very disappointing start to the Champions League with two defeats, could have nicked a draw on both of these matches. We really need to do something special now to qualify.

Juan Mata is out injured for 4-5 weeks with a sprained ankle.
Fernando Torres is out injured for 3-4 weeks with a fractured arm.

Thanks, happy with my Premier League start, but really worried about the Champions League, we need to do something special or we gonna end up in the Europa!

Have improved at the back & only conceded three goals in seven league matches. On the other hand we have been lacking that flair upfront, with Juan Mata & Fernando Torres back from injury we have looked much sharper in attack especially in the last two Champions League matches where we beat Rangers & Napoli at Stamford Bridge. Milan Lalkovic has been loaned to Huddersfield for the season to gain match experience. Alan Shearer returns to Blackburn Rovers as manager, replacing Steve Kean & Andres Villas-Boas makes a quick return to the Premier League spotlight replacing Alan Pardew at Newcastle United. The draw has been made for the League Cup Quarter Final & Semi Final aswell.

Alex suffered a back strain in training & will be out for 4 weeks.
Ashley Cole is out for 2-3 weeks with a groin strain.
