John Smith has won his first trophy as Arsenal manager after his side's 3-1 win in the Community Shield. Robin van Persie was the best player on the pitch by a mile as he scored 2 goals. There are rumours that John Smith is interested in Man City star Carlos Tevez and some say Arsenal could get him for only around £15m.
whats your transfer budget at arsenal?

Transfer Budget: £11.5m
Wage Budget: £259k p/w

Arsenal Transfers

Here are Arsenal's summer signings made by John Smith.

Jordan Rhodes- £6.75m from Wolves
Danny Wilson- £3.7m from Liverpool

Note:
I will be updating Arsenal at the end of the January transfer window but will be doing match reports on Cup Finals and big games.
why didn't you stay on as england manager? i would have liked you to have continued so you could win the euros :)

I have stayed on as England manager. I am managing both England and Arsenal as FM2012 lets you manage both a national team and club at the same time so I will still be posting England match reports.

Three Lions Can't Find Touch Of Class

Mexico 1-1 England
dos Santos
Holt
Henderson

England could only manage to draw against a top Mexico team. Only a Grant Holt 90+2 minute equaliser could save them from an embarrassing defeat to Mexico, who are ranked 11th in the World. Smith did however have a number of injuries including, Wayne Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Darren Bent. They will now look to win their first Euro 2018 qualifier against Latvia.

England Glide Past Latvia

Latvia 0-3 England

Sturridge

England won their first Euro 2018 Qualifying match with ease as they thrashed Latvia. Again without the like of Rooney, Gerrard and Bent, England could rely on Jordan Henderson, Theo Walcott and Daniel Sturridge to give them some goals. After this game England are still 1st in the World Rankings. Here is the Qualifying Table and World Rankings:

England Show They Are Still Best

11.10.2014

England 2-0 Portugal
Walcott
Henderson
Shawcross

England won their second game in qualifying against the hardest opposition they will face in the group, Portugal. John Smith says he is bringing in a younger side over the next few games and will get rid of all players that are past their prime. Ryan Shawcross won every ball in the air and thoroughly deserved man of the match. England have 2 games left in 2014 and they are friendlies against Ecuador and USA

I had Joe Hart, Baines and Rooney as my 3 over 23 players but good squad

I had Baines, Rooney and Young!
[/quote I think I had Hart, Young and Rooney !
Enjoying the story so far mate. To me, choosing to take on Arsenal too could well be exactly what will do you some good. In my eyes, England and Arsenal are similar in the sense that, both have a lot of class but seem to under achieve. If you manage a world cup win with England....who knows what the future may hold with Arsenal?

Anyone in particular lined up for your budget?
