The King Returns Home: Goodbye and Hello

I'm a huge Arsenal fan and of course I love Thierry Henry so this save is about him taking over from wenger.

Time to say some goodbyes

Lukas Podolski has left the club to join Newcastle United. I no longer really wanted him and he was too lazy on the pitch and would never work hard.

Bacary Sagna was sold to PSG as he was ageing and getting much slower, wingers kept on ripping him into pieces.

The captain Vermalen was sold as he wanted to leave the club and Steve Bould advised that I let him go.

Laurent Koscienly also left the club as he wanted to leave. Since I already have Vidic and Varane I could afford to sell him.
some big names you have sold on, bu you got good players in before that so all good :) good luck with the rest of the season :)

Friendlies

We played 5 friendly matches winning 4 and losing only 1.

Our first friendly match was against Red Star FC. We completely dominated in this game and this certainly showed on the score sheet.

The second friendly match was against the giants from Paris, PSG. We also dominated this match and ended up winning it comfortably.

The third match saw us lose to a strong Toulouse FC side, though we dominated we failed to score a goal and they ended up winning 1-0.

The fourth game saw us take on Black Leopards, a local team from France. This was another comfortable victory and I noticed the team was playing quality football and we were very fluid.

The last game of our pre-season saw us take on Platanias another local side in France. In this match we went all out and we won 2-0. Well done to Welbeck for scoring two goals in this match.

It was a very short but useful pre-season for us, most of it saw us training hard for the new season. We had 3 cups to defend and one to win.

Nice signings especially Victor Moses, as a countryman I'm really looking forward to his development in your club.
Good pre-season overall, hope you finally get your hands on the elusive premier league trophy this season.......still rooting for you!!!!
Good signings with Moses Schurlle and buying back Ramsey, but I don't really know what Beckham or Johnson will bring to the team. Good luck!
The treble! The fucking treble! :O

THERE'S ONLY ONE THIERRY HENRY!

Awesome results Seni! By the way, just wanted to enquire about Aaron Ramsey. You bought him back from PSG? When did you have him sold? I must have missed it.

New Captain

England Veteran David Beckham has been appointed the new captain of Arsenal following the departure of Thomas Vermaleen. Beckham is said to be very happy that his friend Henry has given him the chance to captain such a big side. The last side Beckham captained was England.

Beckham:

''Well I'm very pleased that I've been appointed as the new captain and I know that I can handle the pressure. I know I will have to set a good example to all the other players and I'm looking forward to the new season.''

What better way to kick off the season?

The community shield is a cup that takes place annually. It always takes places just before the season starts. The fa cup winners go against the league winners and in this case it was us(Arsenal) vs the league winners Manchester City. I wasn't too bothered about the scoreline as this was simply a friendly however its always nice to start off the season by winning a cup and that's exactly what we did.

Manchester City played their hearts out while we were a bit more relaxed and composed. In this case, composure got the better of urgency as we won the game 2-1.

Marouane Fellaini gave Man City the lead in the 29th minute with a perfect finish, proving its not all about shooting the ball as hard as you can.

Italian midfielder Andrea Poli then equalized in the 49th minute with also a good finish but not as good as Fellaini's.

New striker Danny Welbeck scored the winner in the 63rd minute and he looked delighted. We managed to hold on until the final whistle.

Tottenham sack AVB

As I flipped straight to the back of the daily mail I saw the headlines '' Tottenham sack Andres Villas Boas''. I laughed. Tottenham had a horrible season. They finished 7th. They didn't win anything and they lost to their rivals three times in one season, very bitter for them but wonderful for us I guess. Luciano Spaletti is said to have taken over at Tottenham and Boas is now managing Athletico Madrid.

Our first match of the season is against Tottenham and myself and the players are looking forward to it. For some players it will be their first ever North London Derby.

The North London Derby

Once again it was that time of the season but this time it was the first game of the season. This season we have a very tough task ahead of us. We want to win the league and every other cup possible, of course this will be a very tough task but I have faith in my squad. Since Bale is injured and Andre- Villas Boas has left things have calmed down between the two teams although of course there's still the rivalry.

The team were desperate to win this game as not only was it a North London Derby but it was the beginning of a new season, everyone wants to start the season on a good note.

In the match, we did not dominate possession yet we were pressing. As the referee was about to blow his whistle for the first half to come to and end, Gary Medel tackled Walcott to tackle Walcott harshly. He ended up going for any early bath as that was his second yellow card, poor tottenham but we didn't care that was brilliant for us.

In the second half we immediately took advantage of the fact that they were one man down and they just couldn't handle the constant pressure and in the 64th minute Dawson slide tackled Walcott in the box and the referee pointed to the spot. Walcott then stepped up...slowly....and....slotted the ball home, 1-0. Just as I thought we might have secured the game out of nowhere Lennon dribbled past Gibbs to score and spoil the party.

However our gem, Santi Cazorla scored after playing one-two with Schurrle.

2-1 was the final score, we had defeated our bitter rivals but more importantly we had gotten the three points.
