James May to take over as Premier League side Brighton who have only recently been promoted. May, who co-presents the car show "Top Gear", is said to be delighted at the new challenge.
"Well ever since Top Gear was axed i was looking for something new to do. There is only so many things you can do with the Man Lab, so i decided to go out of the box. Whilst the other two (Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson) are monkeying around, i've done this properly"
Brighton, who released Guy Poyet only two weeks prior to this, are excited and nervous of the impact May will have at the club.
"He was a risky choice admittedly, but i feel he will do enough to keep the club up this season. He thinks things through and gets them done, that's the credentials you need to manage a top team like this."
