Basque Country Realistic Update for FM23

Hi all,

My name is Soren Hansen from Denmark. The last couple of years I've somehow fallen in love with football in the Basque Country. I've still not decided whether I like Real Sociedad or Athletic Club the most, as I kind admire and respect both clubs very much. I like the philosophy of both clubs.

Athletic Club only signing basque players by origin or players raised and trained in the Basque Country and Real Sociedad mainly playing basque players trained at their academy but are also signing players from outside the Basque Country.

I play FM with both clubs every year and I don't think the original database is sufficient and detailed enough, so I decided to do a lot of changes on my own to make it more realistic.

It's essential for these two clubs to have youth players coming through the ranks as it's the philosophy of both clubs.

Therefore I have done a lot of changes on young players from both clubs and did a lot of research before I made the changes. I will now list some of the changes I've done.

Athletic Club:
- Every player has been gone through. Correct positions, city of birth, more realistic potential etc.
- Mikel Gonzalez as Sporting Director
- Quicala Bari added - new signing
- Peio Huestamendia added - young talent
- Alemu Plazaola added - young talent

Real Sociedad:
- Every player has been gone through. Correct positions, city of birth, more realistic potential etc.
- Dani Diaz added - young talent

Alavés:
- Jon Ander Barriga added - young talent
- Xanet Olaiz - young talent update - added basque nationality

Bordeaux:
Johaneko Louis-Jean - young talent update - added basque nationality - born in Bayonne, Basque Country
Marvin De Lima - young talent update - added basque nationality - born in Bayonne, Basque Country

Osasuna:
Aimar Oroz - talent update
Christian Mutilva - talent update - basque nationality added
