Dark skin for FM 2016 regular career mode and widescreens (1920x1080).

Well, I know I said that the version 2.2 of FlutSkin was the last version for this season (FM16). However, I already should know that the edition of a skin is a “never ending story”…
Thus, I'm pleased to present you the version 2.3 of FLUTSkin Dark for FM16.

Once again, thanks to all FM fans and especially to all of the fantastic FM skinners who contribute a lot to produce the FLUTSkin as it is today since FM 2013.

Compatible with DF11, Scope and Cutout Faces.

Compatible with Backgrounds (however, some of them will not be shown, instead, the citypics will be displayed).

Released: 29 August, 2016

Resolution requirements

This skin was made to work properly in 1920x1080 full screen mode. As a result, some panels won’t work properly in other resolutions (and also in 1920x1080 windowed mode).

The changes (some of them are just minor changes) in this version are in the following panels:

Stadium Overview Panel
Game Processing
Calendar Popup Panel
Club General Panel
Nation General Panel
Team Report Panel
Manager Home Panel

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. In this pack I included a TUTORIAL PDF with instructions regarding the structure of your Graphics folder in order to view the citypics, the kits and the competition logos in player details and in title bar.

2. I also included a folder with the files you need to use in order to remove the attributes background boxes (you just have to place the files of that folder in the panels folder of the skin and overwrite the originals)

You can download the FOOTBALL MANAGER BACKGROUNDS SUPERPACK or the City Pics MEGAPACK v4.0 to further enhance the skin.

How to add Flut dark skin in FM16

Download and extract the .rar file (using either 7-Zip for Windows or The Unarchiver for Mac).

Place the "fm2016flutskindark" folder here:
Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2016\skins
Create the folder "skins" if it doesn't exist.

Start FM16 and go to Preferences screen and then into the Interface tab.
You should see FM 2016 Flut Skin - v.2.3 - Dark Version as option in the skin drop down of the Overview box.
Hit the Confirm button.

Please note this skin is provided as is. It has nothing to do with Sports Interactive or SEGA and won't be supported by them.

In this folder:
C: \ Users \ username \ AppData \ Local \ Sports Interactive \ Football Manager 2016 \ Preferences

But if you have folders are not visible as it is in default
You may use this method.

Windows 8 and Windows 10:

1. Click Desktop.

2. Open a browser window (for example, a folder or simply press the Windows + E key).

3. In the address bar above, copy the following and press Enter:
%localappdata%/sports interactive/football manager 2016

4. Delete the "Preferences" folder.

more than 3 months ago, I asked for support for a mistake in tactics.
Do not drag players from the "tactics" screen
Ask here, but did not know how to help.
After trying many methods, I could find the error.
It was not mistake the skin, but it is an error of the game.
To fix it you have to delete the preferences folder.

Hi rui: you can find the stadiums here in FMScout (the FMC stadiums) and also in other FM sites.

Hi ruifcp: yes. The skin doesn't change the logos and faces you have.

Yes you can use backgrounds.
You just have to go to client object browser.xml and change the code

by this one:

However, some backgrouns will not shown (instead of it the citypics will be shown; this is due the fact that citypics and some backgrounds use the same code).

Hi Flut, thanks for your amasing work! Best skin i ever seen ! I followed the pdf instructions and all is ok. But i have a question : is there a possibility to use backgrounds on your skin? citypics are fabulous, but i would have stadiums pics, citypics and, in backgound, a wallpaper of the club i am looking for. Is it possible with your skin? Greats

I think I've understood the problem, I thought that dazs8 stadiums were for that places too, but they're just backgrounds! I'm downloading mini stadiums now, thanks anyway

ohhhh i found the reason of the highlight since my AM is left and i update the skin in the same time............

can i fix the footer color? I use Crystal Palace and the background shows blue, and i click the continue button and the game / news jump to EPL pages footer change to white, i dont get this problem when i use DF11 version..

Thanks Flut but it cannot fix the abilities highlight problem after clean the cache..
one more problem, in the player overview pages, I select season stat in the right hand side, but i found that if the player hv 10+ appearances, the number will become displacement, how to fix it? thanks again
