How to use FMSE
Current version 1.9.0.0 is compatible with Steam 64-bit Windows edition only.- Unzip and install by running the .exe file.
- Open Football Manager 2018 and load your saved game.
- Open FMSE 18.
- Click on the load icon (small folder, top left).
- Search for awards, cities, clubs, players...
- Double-click on an item from the results.
- A new window will pop-up and you can edit data there.
- Once done editing click on the save icon (small disk, top left) for the changes to take effect.

AppCake Ltd and FMScout.com cannot be held liable for any corrupt game files, or any other issue caused by the use of FMSE 18. When it comes to the 'Chairman Status' is there a set value to set it to so it will force the club to be put up for sale?

What is not useful for you (at least at this point in time) is useful for many others, or this wouldn't exist, and I only ever mentioned our (more) features because of your comment on how you prefer ige over fmse because our update came 2 hours after the update. FMSE does do more than it does less, which was my initial point, and it definitely isn't used just for cheating (scouting and ratings easily comes to mind, as well as correcting mistakes for player attributes, reducing frequency of injuries, etc.)

@Bartdude IGE is missing a lot of things FMSE has (and will be missing even more as we implement more). It also can't do anything else other than football manager mode games and doesn't have mass editing. There are usually only around 8 or 9 times the game gets updated throughout the year. We don't usually take more than a few hours to put out a compatible release, sometimes we release in 30 minutes!
More updates to come in the next few days!
We'll stay up until FM18 final version unlocks around midnight, and make an effort to make FMSE compatible with it asap.
Sadly thanoulas was sick yesterday (regular flu) and didn't finish the update that would introduce competition editing. Due to limited time available during the week, we're currently looking at Wednesday for a possible release.
@SeaCarrot: I'm not sure of the exact data yet; thanoulas gave me a preliminary list, but foreign player limit wasn't in it.
@phnompenhandy: You get the new versions either on this very page or via the update checker within the app itself.
FMSE18 was updated last night, roughly 2 hours after the 18.0.3 patch was out.
