Roger Schmidt's 4231 (60% avg poss)

Today we take some time to look into Roger's 4-2-3-1 System. He is currently using this at Benfica and so far so good for him! What I love about this tactic is the passing play. With the wide players coming into more central area's it is really easy to link up the play and control the ball with ease.

Off the ball you apply a pressing game, a high tempo game so you really do get both of best worlds playing with this tactic. I tested this with one of his former sides and current side Benfica. And the results we got where simply outstanding, and even proved ourselves in the UCL.
