Some would say his game style is "boring" but for me his main aim is to simply control the game and he believes having the ball does that. I actually believe this is a smart way to play, it is not going to score you loads of goals but what it will do is win you games.
We ran a test (holiday) with Netherlands in the Qatar world Cup 2022 and these are the results.

Against Equador they got 2 shots and 1 of that shots goes in goal.... I hope Argentina would beat them.
And once again tactic which running on holiday is not the same when you playin without holiday ...
