To use this version of FM Assistant 11 you must have your game updated with the Patch 11.1 or 11.1.1 first.

How to use:
- Extract the archive in a folder of your choice, don't try to run the app from within the archive! Make sure to extract the contents of the downloaded file first, otherwise it will trigger an error.
- Run Football Manager 2011, and load your save game (or start a new one)
- Run FM Assistant10 (ALT+TAB to desktop first if you're running FM full screen)
- Click Load > Load FM2011

- DVD Version with Patch 11.1.1 or 11.1
- Steam Version with Patch 11.1.1 or 11.1
- Digital Download versions with Patch 11.1.1 or 11.1

No, but you can try CrossOver Mac or Darwine.

There are a few bugs going on, mainly with contract dates, hopefully we will fix it in the next version of the framework.

IMPORTANT: Please, please when you get an error, have a look at the Logging folder, and if there is a Log.txt file, please upload it to your personal file space on this site and link it in the forums with exact details on how your error occured.
If there is nothing in the logging folder, what you can do is compress and send your save game file and then explain exactly how the problem is reproduced.

do you know when or if there will be a Steam Compatable ver?
If you're using Steam, well it just won't work because Steam auto-updates FM with the latest patch and current FMA version is not compatible with patch 11.1.1.
I said that it doesn't work on Steam i have the Normal Patch
i cannot install the DVD ver because my disk drive doesnt read the FM disc even though i have DVD-RW
its all loaded on my game but Assistant does not pick it up
Nor do i have a Bug report file to send!
Any ideas?

I find out also that if i choose one of the positions on the right top corner it works normally
so a quick sollution would be to either remove this option (for now) or to make an new position smth like "none" or so

Steam downloaded the latest update 11.1.1 and i did not notice.
FM Assistant not compatible with this fix.

On a side note, if you have an original copy of FM2011 you can PM me. We got some reports that for guys using the FM11 digital download, they could get it to work somehow.
1. I'm using a dvd retail version which is definatley updated to 11.1
2. I'm definately using .NET Framework 4.0
3. I start up fm2011 and load my current saved game so it is up and running. With the game still running I then Run FMAssistant11 but when i click the load tab in top left and then 'Load FM2011' it displays the following error message everytime "Error loading FM 2011. Make sure you have a new or loaded game of FM2011 up and running. Closing in 4 seconds". The 'logging folder is empty so i cant provide any log.txt files.
Any suggestions? Obviously I understand there will be teething problems with a BETA version and your efforts are already massively appreciated mate :o)

READ THISI think a "quick" bypass is too ALWAYS CHOOSE a position (right top corner) that u want to search
i do have tested it and it works fine on my 11.1 dvd version.
however, remember this is a FIRST BETA version. it has bugs and thats why you can send a bug report.
you can go to help->about and send me a bug report with details on how it happened.
most of the bugs are due to the framework reading the memory at runtime which is always tricky.

You do realize that due to his army duty we won't be seeing regular updates, so I'll make sure all comments (both suggestions and bug reports) are written down on a forum thread properly; this way I'll minimize the time needed for him to go through the comments and do the sorting himself.

Please understand I have not personally tested this version as I haven't yet installed my FM11 retail. It is the first FMA11 beta and was solely tested by the author himself; he'll try to look through all major bugs before he joins the army on Wednesday.
It's also unlucky for Kostas that the 11.1.1 patch came out few hours ago, bad timing really. The program is using the same framework FMRTE is using, so as long as there is no FMRTE compatible version to 11.1.1 there won't be a compatible FM Assistant version either.
