Sene will be an important player for you :)
@Josh: It'll be interesting how they'll respond.

@Walter: Indeed, wise words :P

@Justice: I feel that he'll have a great impact this season ;)

Racing Santander Fine 5 Fans

After C.E. Sabadell's match, which included a rather offensive banner towards their manager, Raul. The Racing board of directors have fined five fans, and included bans. The banner read,"Hay que ser ambicioso para ser grande." The banner translates,"You have to be ambitious to become big." Following close-up investigations, they found out that 5 season ticket holders were after this banner, and fined them £2,000, in addition of revoking their season ticket from Racing's stadium, El Sardinero.

Angel Lavin

Iron Hand: Lavin and the board were pityless to what the fans did against their manager.

Following this event, Raul held a press conference, and said,"It's a shame to what happened. I honestly did not want to cause this event. However, I do agree with the boards action, and I have talked to Angel [Lavin] about it, and I have received the full backing of the board." The C.E. Sabadell win has fired Racing to top of the table, and their manager, Raul, still believes they are far from title contenders, yet alone promotion contenders. He said,"I don't back from what I said, because with the current squad we have, and the competitions we are playing, or will, are harsh. I don't think we are even promotion contenders. We just got here to the Liga Adelante, and Lavin's objective was to secure a mid-table spot, and if we reach the 50 point milestone before January, we are secured. If we get there, we will then talk about promotion."

Raul Gonzalez

Secure: Raul has been backed by the board, following these turn of events.

No further comment has been made from both the manager, the club or the club's fansite.
Ooo I wonder what happens next...
@Josh: Keep wondering ;) :P

Raul: Mario to Celta? Highly unlikely

Raul has responded to Luis Enrique's claims that Celta will move for Racing's #1, Mario, when the January transfer window opens. Mario has recently tied himself to Racing, after reports revealed that Celta had indeed approached Racing for Mario, as a potential transfer to Celta.

Raul responded to the Celta manager by saying,"Mario knows that at Racing, he will always be a starter, if his performances are high. Of course, such performances will always attract clubs for the player, but we are confident that Mario will stay at the club next season." Raul continued,"Mario's move to Celta? Highly unlikely. Had Mario wanted to leave the club, he'd simply let his contract run down and move to the club of his choice. Mario wants to stay at Racing and Racing wants Mario to stay. It doesn't get more complicated than that."

Potential Departure: The goalkeeper has been constantly linked to Celta this season.

Raul also revealed that the club's chairman, Angel Lavin, has ruled out the transfer of the young and promising Jacobo Prat to Atletico Madrid. The youngster went under the radar from the press in the previous window, but Raul has revealed that Prat was indeed, under transfer speculation. Raul said,"Yes, Jacobo [Prat] was under heavy speculation. Myself, Jacobo [Prat] and Angel [Lavin] know that he can develop into a world class player, and we want to mould him here. He's a Santander native, and loves the club. Raul also said,"The chairman [Angel Lavin] took the offer personally, and I had no say in it, whatsoever.

Jacobo Prat

Future Key Player: Big money offers were rejected by Lavin.
Prat looks good :D
Prat <3 Lucky your chairman didn't sell him in the end, nice update Pauk, I look forward to more!! :D
@Josh: Indeed, he looks good. Needs some polishing here and there, but he looks good.

@Walter: Yeah, I was on my nails when it said I couldn't do anything about it!
