Racing Sign Attacking Duo

Today, Racing manager, Raul Gonzalez, announced the signing of Francisco Yeste, and Ivan Bolado. With the lack of depth up front, Raul decided to sign up Yeste and Bolado, as they have valuable experience in higher leagues. Yeste, played for Athletic Bilbao for a whopping 13 years, before moving on to Al-Wasl, Olympiakos and U.A.E. club Baniyas, under 3 seasons. The former Bilbao player was constantly linked to sides such as C.D. Tenerife, U.D. Las Palmas and a number of Scandinavian clubs, but decided to sign for Gonzalez' Racing side, as Yeste revealed that Raul's plans 'were ambitious'. If the Real Madrid legend has the pull to bring a legendary Bilbao player, he must have a 'marquee signing' under his sleeve, which would bring much delight to Racing fans.

The 33 year-old attacking midfielder spoke a few words after his successful medical at Racing and stated,"To play under Raul will be interesting, and I just come off of some really bad seasons, where Raul promised me that I would be a major part of the 're-birth' of Racing." The new Racing player signed some autographs for some of the young fans waiting for the Basque player. The new Racing attacking midfielder will be earning £1.8k p/w during his 1 year contract handed by Raul.

The other signing was Ivan Bolado, who recently changed his nationality to Equatorial Guinea, and started his career at Racing in 2005, before moving on in 2010 to Liga Adelante side Cartagena. The striker, who had been cleared of injury (injury from July 2012 to early 2013) was offered various contracts from Liga Adelante sides like Alcoyano, Alcorcon, Numancia amongst others, but yet again, the pull of the legendary Raul, brought Bolado back home to Racing.

After the unveiling of the player, Raul told the press,"Ivan (Bolado) will be perhaps the main striker this season for us, and perhaps the next. We hope that he can put behind his past injuries and put back the Racing shirt and show us what his potential and true abilities are." The striker, who has yet to prove his goal scoring prowess he showed during his youth career. The new Racing striker will be earning £1k p/w during his 1 year contract handed by Raul.

Some decent signings there, hopefully they can fire Racing to promotion! :D
Good Luck, I feel a bit sorry forgot hapless Dominguez. :P I hope you can eradicate your debts soon! :)
@Neal: Thanks mate, if they can get us scoring, we'll be fine.

@Madridista: Hahaha! He's a shit assistant manager, so he was a 'to go' list already. Hopefully, by the time I get to the Liga BBVA, my debts will be eradicated (2-3 seasons).
Good luck Pauker :P

Great start, can't wait to see how you do!
My Comment For Your Updates

They were both very good updates. Hopefully you can overcome the struggles of Santander's financial woes. Good luck :D
@Aaron: Thanks, I'll need that.. and money :P... Care for some spare change?

@Walter: Thanks mate, I will try my best to cut the slashes on my team, I have two fantastic GK's so if I get a high bid for Mario, I'll sell him. Thanks for reading 4 year old.

Ion Echaide & Enrique Corrales Join Racing Revolution

After announcing the signing of the attacking duo of Francisco Yeste and Ivan Bolado, Raul has decided to re-inforce his defensive line, after his new staff member and former Racing player, Pablo Pinillos, advised the former Real Madrid striker to sign two defenders. After assessing various players, Pinillos and Raul himself, decided to go with Echaide and Corrales, who were signed on a loan, and a free transfer, respectively.

Ion Echaide, who was transfer-listed and loan-listed by his parent club, Osasuna, was only played by his club 7 times throughout his career there, obligating him to make loans to lower-league clubs, such as Huesca, where he played 3 seasons, over the years. However, this time, Huesca didn't come around to save the defender from another horrible season at Osasuna, but Raul & Co, came to the rescue. However, Raul will have to pay £45,000 for the player to play at Racing for the whole season, making it a £5,000 fee per month, a massive fee for the current state the club is financially, but will not be covering his wages. The defender is known for being versatile in the defense, as he can play as a right-back, left-back or a centre-back. Hopefully, Echaide will be provide to be a fan favorite, and be money well spent..

The other addition to Raul's new club, is Enrique Corrales, a 31 year old, and a former youth team-mate from the manager. Coming from the Real Madrid's 'cantera', the player pursued for more game time, and moved to Osasuna, where he would play as a first-team player for the next 4 seasons, before moving on to Mallorca for two seasons, and from then on, his career would back-track to clubs such as Granada and U.D. Las Palmas, before Raul snapped the left-back on a free transfer. The left-back will be earning a minimal fee of £875 p/w during his stay at Racing.

I'd like to thank my really good friend, Justice, for making this banner, which I really like. I don't care if you don't like it, because it's for me :P. This is his second time he's made a banner, so don't give him hate (don't think you should, since the banner is really good.)
Two nice signings, I hope they will perform well :)
Well Pauker... as good as Justice's banner is, I am disgusted I was overlooked for the job of making it :'(

*Serious mode activated*: Some nice signings, keep up the quality of updates.
@Justice: Thanks, I hope so too :)

@Walter: I didn't know you did banners! You can be a mature 4 year old if you do one for Copa del Rey and the Segunda Division B1. kthxbai
Some more good signings there, the banner is nice, too! :)

Gonzalo Colsa Rejects Racing Return

Today, Gonzalo Colsa, a former Racing captain, rejected the chance to return to Racing, and join Al-Sadd. This comes as a huge shock, as the 'Racinguistas' were looking forward to see another ex-player join them back after Raul brought some former players as free signings. A perfect example is Ivan Bolado, who re-joined Racing after being handed another shot to impress Racing fans, and to show his abilities.

Gonzalo Colsa, who ironically signs with Raul's last club, Al-Sadd, is now seen as a traitor for many Racing fans, after turning them down to join the Qatar based club. The defensive-minded midfielder, was warned by Raul that Al-Sadd 'were not professional', but that didn't stop the midfielder from getting a juicier paycheck at Qatar.

Gonzalo Colsa, who came through the youth ranks of Racing, was seen as a major target for Raul, and would assume the captain role if he were to decide to return to the club. The player even captained the side for some years, before being released by the club. However, it seems that the Racing-bred midfielder was convinced by the president of Al-Sadd.. and his money.

Gonzalo Colsa

Gonzalo Colsa rejected to return to Racing, ahead for a move to Qatar giants, Al-Sadd.

The man that pursued Colsa day and night, Raul, gave his opinion about Colsa choosing Racing over Al-Sadd. The manager angered, said,"Everyone knows that I left Al-Sadd in bad terms, and when Al-Sadd came knocking for him, I told him that he was going to be treated badly if he spoke his mind. Not only that, but he'll probably be given a 1 year contract, as for here, we would've gone all the way with the 2 year contract we offered, plus the captains armband."

Newly employed Under 19's coach, Pablo Pinillos, also gave his point after Colsa favored a move to Qatar over staying at Spain, and playing for Racing. The coach said,"I'm disappointed with Gonzalo (Colsa), as he is a close friend of mine, as we were captain & vice-captain together here at this same club. I talked to him, and he seemed convinced to help the club to get out where we are currently at."

Pablo Pinillos

Pinillos giving his insight on the recent rejection on Colsa's move to Racing.

With the lack of depth in the midfield role currently at Racing, Colsa seemed to fill that hole, and improve it, but with the former player going against a new spell at the club, Raul might be forced to look elsewhere..

Author's Note

Once again, Mr.Justice, has given me some help in my graphics section, which looks fantastic (denied pic). Oh, and he's taken already, so don't ask him for banners & stuff. *takes a hold of Justice*
Hang the traitor!
Why would anybody reject Racing? :(
