Nice story so far! You should pretty much dominate that league :)

January - Going Strong

Scottish League 1
5 wins and 2 draws ensured that Rangers can only finish within the top 5 this season, although It looks increasingly likely they will win the league.

On the results...
We were made to work in every game this month and only won by an odd goal or two. I was admittedly frustrated with our home draw with Airdrie though.

On player performances...
I have been impressed particularly with Jon Daly over the past few months. He has really took on responsibility after Leigh Griffiths had injured himself for the month.

On transfer rumors...
Myself and the board have been working night and day over the past few weeks to pull off a few deals. We have a big signing confirmed that we will announce tomorrow to strengthen up the back. We also may have a development in brining Leigh (Griffiths) in on a permanent basis

League Table

On league position...
Secretly we are planning for next season in the higher division but we can't let the lads know. We must continue working hard and treat every game as if its a cup final

On unbeaten run...
12 games to go, It would be a fantastic achievement and with the league realistically wrapped up this would feel like another trophy.

Rangers snatch Kilmarnock ace

Rangers have announced the signing of Kilmarnock's Mark O'Hara for an initial fee of £1.5 Million which could eventually rise to £1.6 million.

The 18 year old has been on Dean Byrne's radar for some time now, with 2 bids already turned down this window for the youngster. O'hara had attracted premier league attention with clubs such as Cardiff and Southampton showing an interest.

Rangers boss Dean Byrne had made it clear in recent months that he was unhappy with his sides defensive options and felt it needed bolstering.

O'Hara has been a regular in Kilmarnock's defence this season, playing 14 of the 24 games in the Scottish Premiership. The large fee may be seen a risk for The Gers however as the club continues to battle a financially difficult period.

Rangers have had little trouble in the Scottish League 1 so far this season, and lead by 20 points with just 12 games left.

February - Champions!

Scottish League 1
Rangers have won The Scottish League 1 and will play in the Scottish Championship next season after their victory against Arbroath ruled out any slight chance Stenhousemuir had of catching them.

On the month...
3 home games and 9 points, can't ask for much more. Stenhousemuir have been our nearest challengers all season so it was good to defeat them

On becoming champions...
Absolutely delighted on a personal level as this is my first job and I may have won some fans over, however on the bigger picture we were always expected to dominate this league so I have to play down my celebrations and focus towards next season

Scottish Cup
Although Champions of their league, Rangers were dumped out of the Scottish Cup by Premiership side Motherwell at Ibrox.

On losing in cup...
This hurt more than the Celtic result for me. After drawing away I was confident we could take them at Ibrox. Our lads were wrecked but I tried to rally them on for a result. In the end Motherwell showed why they are in the top 4 of the Premiership but I feel as though they were there for the taking

March/April - Unbeaten Season!

Scottish League 1
Rangers rounded off their season with 4 wins in the final two months of the season, breaking records in the process and confirming an unbeaten season.

On unbeaten season...
What a fantastic achievement! A whole season without losing a game in the league, you should have heard our fans after the last game! I think their on my side now

On breaking records...
Yeah we managed to set quiet a few records this year. We managed to score the most goals ever in this league with 96, beating the previous record by just 1. We won more games than anyone else and achieved the highest amount of points. A good season

On new contract...
The board offered me a 1 year extension which I accepted immediately. I was getting quiet worried as I had just 3 months left on my deal before they called me in!

On hopes for next season...
Next season will be an exciting one seeing as we have come off the back of successive promotions. I believe we might have to add to our defence and replace Lewis Macleod if we want a chance of going up. Another season unbeaten? Unlikely.
