August - Derby Disaster!
On the month...
A good return to the top division overall as we showed we will be contenders. We got revenge over Hearts for our cup final defeat also which was sweet and also good results against Motherwell and Aberdeen.
On the Old Firm...
Obviously I'm devastated with the result, but we had the chances to win the game. Leigh Griffiths in particular missed some guilt edge chances whereas Celtic were clinical. That's the difference at the moment.
On transfer window...
There won't be any more signings, I'm very happy with my current squad. We will look at tying up some of the younger players on longer contracts
On the results...
Relatively straight forward for us bar the shootout. We had a lot of second string players on the field and they played quiet well
On league position...
Celtic are 5 points ahead, but our goal for the season is to try get into Europe. Celtic are very strong this year so it will be hard to challenge them but we'll give it our best shot

I love your signings too, except Naismith. I think you got emotional when you signed him and I doubt he adds a lot to your squad. Anyway, as long as he's not eating up too many wages, his return is good for the story

Yeah I must admit Naismith isn't the greatest player, but I had to bring him back when the chance came! He adds some depth so not the worst deal I've ever done

On the month...
Yeah we had a good month, although I was quiet frustrated with the draw with Kilmarnock. Celtic were beaten that day so we should have closed the gap even further.
On being awarded manager of the month...
It's always great to receive personal awards but honestly I'm more concerned about the team and how we are doing in the league
On the defeat...
It was painful to watch really. I put a lot of trust in my younger players and had a few Under 19 lads out who just couldn't handle the pressure
On league position...
We've got the lead down to 4 points which means we had a good month. We need to turn our draws into wins and hope Celtic slip up somewhere along the line
