Naismith Hits The Glorious Winning Goal

Naismith scoring again

Steven Naismith is in the best form of his entire career at the moment. The Scottish attacking midfielder come striker scored what proved to be the vital winning goal on Saturday when he got a glorious ball over the top by Christian Eriksen and he saw the keeper off his line and hit an audacious lob from around 25 yards out and it floated over the keeper and into the back of the net.

Brendan Rodgers made several changes from the team that beat Everton 2-1. Reece James came in for the injured Buttner, John Stones was back in place of Chiriches, Tom Cleverly partnered 16 year old Cadao and Shaqiri and Bony came in for Townsend and Van Persie respectively.

United were much the better side and took the lead on 12 minutes when Brazilian wonder-kid Cadao seized on an error by Glenn Whelan to score an accurate finish. Stoke equalised shortly after when the mega impressive Charlie Adam scored a freak cross come shot goal and Stoke were getting back in it. Everything came from Adams foot but United regrouped and in the second half Steven Naismith scored what could end up being a contender for goal of the season.

Rodgers speaks out about Sandro

It is good to get the first win in the first game and I am sure the guys will now live up to the favourite tag which we seem to be getting. Steven and young Cadao were absolutely outstanding today and I think the Premier League will need to watch out this season. I am also going on record to say that when Sandro is released from prison he WILL be coming back to Manchester United. The Government have said it is OK and we as a club will be sticking by him. That was the words of Brendan Rodgers there confirming at the end that Sandro still has a place at United.
nice update; good to see naismith in good form :D

TAT Thanks and Yeah he is in good form

From Bad To Worse Off The Pitch For United

With Sandro banned for 6 months and the reputation of Manchester United being not to good off the pitch lately. The F.A. Have dropped a bombshell! The anti-doping agency today announced that an unnamed Manchester United player has tested positive for Steroids after the Community Sheild match.

The unnamed player will remain unnamed until the 'B' sample has come back. This could be very serious for the player and possibly the team. Manchester United will have to expect atleast a heavy fine but could face a points deduction of upto 8 points but this seems unlikely because the Premier League would have to prove that Manchester United new something about it.

This is going to hurt United though as Sandro is already banned for upto 6 months and you could look at a 6 - 24 month ban for drugs depending on the drug with this being a Steroid violation expect heavy sanctions on the player involved.

More to come as we get it. But one thing is for sure things off pitch surely can not get any worse for Manchester United.

Form On The Pitch Unaffected As United Crush Liverpool

5-1

In what had been billed as a close encounter, Liverpool were trounced 5-1 by Manchester United at Old Trafford. The highlight of the game was undoubtedly a superb hat-trick from Manchester United's Steven Naismith.

Naismith bagged a hat-trick

It was striker Steven Naismith got Manchester United off to a flyer by scoring a well timed finish from close range on 5 minutes. Then Antonio Candreva, the guy who thought his United career was over doubled the lead on a rare start with a powerful effort on 16 minutes.

Naismith got his second of the game with a well timed close range effort on the 31st minute following brilliant work up play by Nathanial Clyne. Winger Kevin Mirallas then added to the lead with a well struck deflected effort on the 57th minute. It was his first Premier League goal for the club and this was celebrated unlike the goal against former employers Everton.

Luis Suarez pulled on back for Liverpool after 67 minutes with a fluke goal but any faint hopes of a comeback were ended when Naismith scored a penalty to complete his hat-trick and he was voted Man Of The Match.

Candreva is back in contention at United

We were outstanding today. I may have got a hat-trick but this trophy belong to Antonio. Since he came here he struggled to adapt last season but today he showed what a fantastic player he is and I think everyone will hear more of this Italian this season.

Drug Cheat Named!

The name of the player who tested positive for Steroids has been named, shamed and Banned for seven months today. Ravel Morrison, formerly of West Ham will now face a worldwide 7 month ban from the game for testing positive. He has let his side down and spoiled his chances of making the England squad this season.

Morrison is the Drug Cheat and now is banned

Morrison, who cam on at half time in the Community Shield was asked to do a random drug test and that came back positive for Steroids. Fans are furious with the 21 year old and think that he will be sold when he returns on the 1st Of March 2015. This is what Brendan Rodgers had to say about it.

I am disappointed because really when we bought him back to the club that he started at we all had high hopes for him. However he has now broken my trust, the fans trust and most of all the trust of his team-mates. We do not have a problem here although that is now two players banned but they are for very different reasons.

That now means that two central midfielders are out. Sandro until January the 21st and Morrison until 1st March. more reaction to come when we get it.
Mate, what's happening there?! they are all using drugs?

Oh Ravel...

AAN No just morrison
Josh Yeah he has spoilt it for himself really

Rodgers: Its a Good Start

I do not usually spend a lot of time writing things like this because quite frankly I prefer to be training the team for there next match. However this is different because we have had a mixed Summer really, what with Sandro and Ravel getting banned for 6 month and 8 month respectively.

Rodgers talks about his two banned players

So lets talk about the Sandro situation first. As a club we can understand that IF his family were being threatened that he did what he had to do. I am not saying it was acceptable because it was not but it is a totally different situation to the one that Ravel Morrison got himself into. I can tell you that Sandro is doing well and is keeping himself to himself. I look forward to January when we can have him back with us training.

Ravel Maorrison is just DICK, isn't he. He was just starting to emerge from the shadows and then he goes and cheats. This is not acceptable and while he is banned we as a club will figure out what to do with him. He has said that he is deeply sorry but if he is not careful he is going to waste he career away. We all make mistakes but this was not one this was a blatant attempt to cheat the club, the Nation and the football community.

Ok so they are now out the way I can now talk about our fantastic form! And boy haven't we just been stunning this month. The highlight for me was obviously beating my former side Liverpool and seeing Cadao and Naismith have the starts to the season that I expected them to have. Cadao is a wonderful talent, he is eligible for three countries but I think he should play for Brazil as he has the gift of a wold class Brazilian midfielder.

Steven Naismith was fantastic for us last term and already in the first 3 matches he has 4 goals. He is surely going to prove everyone wrong again and with the help of the wide midfielders and Robin of-course, he will keep banging in the goals. Antonio Candreva is another guy who didn't have it all his own way last season, he struggled to settle but this season he is a changed player. He set up 3 goals in the Liverpool match and then teed up Yermolenko in the Palace win too.

United are top after the first 3 matches

We defeated Stoke and Liverpool really well but it is the Palace game that will be remember for John Stones who scored 2 but hit the bar on the 85th minute to just miss out on his hat-trick.

We are currently top of the table after three match and Everton are in the relegation zone! I am going to give Naismith the player of the month accolade and he deserves it with his stunning performances this month.

Naismith gets Rodgers player of the month

Champions League Draw

Everton have found themselves in the group of death with Real Madrid, Juventus and the team that knocked Man City out in the playoffs Olympiakos. Everton have started poorly this season and the group they have make them favourites to finish bottom.

Manchester United have a tough group too with Zenit, Shaktar and Monaco. Monaco won there league last season as did Shaktar and Zenit so United will need to be at there best to get through. The other teams in Britain see Chelsea and Celtic put in the same group along with Lyon and Hannover who both cam through the playoffs.

Transfer Deadline Day Signing For United

Manchester United fans had a flurry at the start of the transfer window and then nothing. That is nothing until today where Brendan Rodgers signed FC Nantes left back Chaker Alhadhur.

The Comoros international becomes the first player from that country to join the Premier League and for Nantes last season he made 30 appearances but fortunately they got relegated and Brendan Rodgers thinks hes got a bargain at £5.75m.

He is young, hungry and with our dedicated training regime he could be a fantastic player, it also means that we can let Reece go off on loan and I believe we have a good back up for Buttner here.

The Comoros international was also pleased with the move but a bit on the surprised side too.

I am shocked..........utterly shocked and I am now a Manchester United player this is what dreams are made of and I really hope the fans will like me. When I get a chance I will show them I am an exciting player.

Alhadhur in action last season for Nantes

Alhadhur has been assigned the number 17 shirt for the upcoming campaign.
I've never heard of him but he seems a good player!
Josh I think he is going to be a very good backup man
