September fixtures !

What a perfect month! We had an amazing month in which we played 5 matches and we managed to win them all! I am very pleased with my strkers performances, but I have a big problem..which one of them should be in the first eleven?! For now, I’ll just keep rotating them.

Zweite Bundesliga

Red Bull Leipzig 4 – 1 Braunschweig

Daniel Frahn Daniel Frahn
Daniel Frahn
Quansah

I expected a very hard match against Braunschweig and if you would ask me before the match, I would take a draw as the result! But my players amazed me with their performance giving no chance to win for Braunschweig!

Aue 2 – 3 Red Bull Leipzig

Daniel Frahn
Quansah
Galvao

Against Aue, which are on 16th palce, I must admit that we have some problems..but I think that it’s just complecy, knowing that you are far better that the opposition!

Red Bull Leipzig 2 – 1 Bielefield

Knasmullner
Daniel Frahn

Winning this match was a very special thing for our club, my career and our fans, as we climbed for the first time on the top of the league! I know that this is not our objective..but if we keep playing like this, I think that we can snatch an unexpected promotion!

Heidenheim 1 – 2 Red Bull Leipzig

Knasmullner
Daniel Frahn

A very pleasing performance and a good result for us, butwe’ve lost our left back for the next 3 months! Juan Dominguez got injuried in this match and sadly for us, he’ll be out for 3 months..let’s hope that the young Galvao can replace him successfully!

DFB - Pokal

Koln 1 – 2 Red Bull Leipzig

Yussuf Poulsen
Yussuf Poulsen

Koln is a very strong squad…they just got relegated from Bundesliga this season and they have a lot of very good players…they dominated us, but we won the match and this is what matters! In the next round of the cup we will meet Freiburg!

League Table

Player of the Month

Daniel Frahn was amazing this month and he deserves to be named player of the month! He scored 6 times in 5 matches and also provided 1 assist!

An incredible month! and as always a really well written and presented update! Keep it up bro!
You're flying! Great month!

Well done on the 2000 views lad. Looking good so far this season. I believe you have a good shot of challenging for the title

New signing announced!

I am very pleased to announce that Sergey Khizhnichenko has signed a pre-contract with us and will join our club on 1st January! Probably not many of you heard about Sergey, as he is a 23 years old player from Kazakhstan which now plays for Korona Kielce in the first league of Poland. And before joining Korona in 2013, he played for a club in Kazakhstan named Sakhter Karagandy.

One of my scouts came to me with a full report about this player in which he said that he would be an amazing signing for our club! He also told me that Sergey is a very solid player with an excellent finishing and that he has the potential to be a star in Bundesliga!

Our strikers, Daniel Frahn and Yussuf Poulsen were amazing this season, scoring almost every match they’ve played…so it was a hard call, but I decided to sign him, as he is just too amazing!

Looks a great signing, hope he performs!
Good looks, plus he has a lot to prove! Hope to help you!

October fixtures !

Our unbeaten record continued in October, as from 4 matches played we managed to win 3 of them and made a draw. The players are playing very well and the team keeps improving and this is the thing the pleases me the most! We are on top of the table and just after 14 matches we already have a 6 points advantage beside second place.

Zweite Bundesliga

Red Bull Leipzig 4 – 2 Inglostadt

Daniel Frahn Daniel Frahn
Daniel Frahn
Jesus Rubio

Inglostadt are sitting on a confortable 7th place now, so they are a solid team…it wasn’t an easy match and I am very pleased that we managed to get the win, as in min 5, Madson received a red card, so we played almost all the match in 10 men.

Red Bull Leipzig 1 – 0 Koln

Daniel Frahn

At the start of the season, Koln were seen as the strongest team in the league and that they won’t have any problems winning it and get promoted back in Bundesliga….Now, after 14 matchs played, Koln are standing on 10th place and I think that they have very small chances to gain promotion! We won the match thanks to this amazing player we have, Daniel Frahn, which once again scored!

Furth 2 – 3 Red Bull Leipzig

Montano
Jesus Rubio
Daniel Frahn

I think this was the worst first half since I became the manager of this club! At half time we were down by 2 goals, as Furth dominated us and were leading 2-0! You don’t wanna know what I told the players and how hard I screamed…and it seems it worked! In the second half we start playing our style and we managed to overturn the score and won 3-2!

Bochum 0 – 0 Red Bull Leipzig

None

This wasn’t a pleasing result..not at all! We played pretty poor and we managed to get just a draw against the team standing on 13th place…but at the end of the month, we are first in the league with a 6 points advantage….so I am not too upset!

League Table

Player of the Month

Once again our player of the month is our captain, Daniel Frahn! Another amazing month for him as he scored 5 times in 4 matches played and now he reached 11 goals scored in 10 matches played this season!

Another great update! Daniel Frahn is in the form of his life it seems!

November fixtures !

November was a month that I want to forget as quick as possible…we played just 3 matches, we managed to get only one win and we lost 2 times! The biggest problem is that we always lost the first place and now we are second….I feel that a team meeting is needed!

Zweite Bundesliga

Red Bull Leipzig 3 – 1 St. Pauli

Daniel Frahn Daniel Frahn
Galvao

We started the month with a very good performance against St.Pauli, creating 21 chances to score and maintaining 61% of possession and nobody predicted hat was about to come…

Darmstadt 3 – 2 Red Bull Leipzig

Dumbuya
Poulsen

We were facing Darmstadt..a club that was standing on 14th place in the league, and we couldn’t held possession?! We only created two chances to score against a very weak team? How it’s even possible to play so weak?! I’m going to fine some players!

Red Bull Leipzig 0 – 1 Paderborn

None

After that loss and all the fines, morale was low and we lost a very important game... with this loss we fell to the second place and Paderborn were first in the league!

League Table

Player of the Month

Since arriving at our club, Quansah had amazing performance, creating a lot of chances to score and also providing a lot of assists. With the 2 assists he provided this month,Quansah became the best passer in the league with 8 assists.

Schalke affiliation announced!

I am very pleased to announce that a link was created netween our club and Schalke with the following clauses:

  • Schalke will send players on loan at RB Leipzig. During the loan spell, players wage will be fully supported by Schalke
  • Schalke will host every year a friendly with RB Leipzig
  • Schalke will pay RB Leipzig an anual fee of 121 k euro to RB Leipzig
a nice club to get a link with bud with all their oil money buying youngsters. Touch month on the league front though bud.
Very good club to link up with, maybe you can get Donis Avidjaj on loan ;)
Looking good so far this season, hopefully you can carry this through to the this second half of the season!

December fixtures !

Ok..we lost against Freiburg, but they have a very good squad and success was never on the cards for us in this match, but the team meeting I think it was a success and motivated the players very much that we destroyed Cottbus and we snatched a win against 3rd placed Dusseldorf to climb back on the first place!

Zweite Bundesliga

Red Bull Leipzig 5 – 0 Cottbus

Herve Bazile Daniel Frahn
Quansah
Poulsen
Buljiat (og)

What a perfect performance for us! 71% possession, 24 chances to score and 12 shots on target from which we managed to score 5 times! The players got very motivated as they really wanted to take revenge, cause in the last match we faced Cottbus, they defeated us!

Dusseldorf 1 – 2 Red Bull Leipzig

Daniel Frahn
Alex Emenike

This was an extremely important match for us because if we would have won it, we would climb on the top of the table, cause Paderborn made a draw…but on the other side, if we would have lost it, we would fell to third place!
But the guys played very well and we got a so much needed win!

DFB - Pokal

Freiburg 3 – 1 Red Bull Leipzig

Quansah

Freiburg is a solid squad from Bundesliga and we were coming after two consecutive defeats, so the morale was pretty low..we lost the match, but I am not upset, we aren’t good enough yet!

League Table

Player of the Month

Madson, one of our central midfielders, was really impressive in this month. Our ball winning midfielder played very well, securing our midfield and defence by winning a lot of duels and making a lot of interceptions!
