March Recap
Somehow after joining back in late December Head Coach Evan Clausen has turned things around for the club. When he joined we were in 6th place and struggled in his first few matches. Now that he has been in charge for awhile the players have really accepted him into the club.
Since 15 February the club has not lost a game and have won four out of the five. The only draw in this span came on 8 March against Wairarapa United. Clausen's additions of Kang Gun and Soe Telesa from his old club have been a welcome edition. In his eight apps for the club Kang Gun has scored 7 goals while picking up 4 assist.
The senior team is gearing up for the final four matches of the season. Currently they are in a tie for first place with Wellington United and Miramar Rangers are all that stand in the way of a possible third Central Region Premier League Trophy.
"Things have gotten better for us, after a few meetings and team building activities we started to work better. These final four matches are going to be massive. Hopefully the fans come out and support, we need you all."- Evan Clausen
The first of the final four matches is set for a home match againsty Wellington United. The match will be played on 5 April and is set for a 15:00 NZST kickoff.
Clausen also has signed a two year extension that keeps him with the club until June 2017.
