It's not all lost yet, they have to come to France to see out the tie which is when you can strike!
A rather disappointing loss for sure, though I'm confident you can win the second and get through.
2016-05-04 23:40#230757 C.J.Lippo : Not going to be easy turning that deficit around, good luck man!
Not going to be easy at all but at the Stade Velodrome we are more than capable of doing it! Believe!

LEAGUE TABLE
PLAYER OF THE MONTH
MOUSA DEMBELE
Mousa Dembele was in inspired form over the last couple of games as Marseille moved to within a point of Monaco at the top of the table, averaging an 8.02 over his last 5 games. His passing accuracy has been sublime and he’s added another goal to his tally and he has helped his teams cause extremely well and the Belgian fully deserves the credit he is getting by winning this award.

A month that started off poorly by drawing 1-1 with Caen. It allowed Monaco to move further clear of us at the top of the table and make them favourites for the title. However I fully believe that they will fall off the pace again like we did after our scintillating form at the start of the year. And if they do, we need to make sure we’re in position to take advantage of their slip. To then gain 2 successive away victories against Nice and Stade de Reims was brilliant and we were fantastic in both victories and to score 5 goals is even more pleasing. To also keep the clean sheet against Reims was brilliant and defensively we were very solid. The home win against Toulouse was very hard fought for and was a massive three points to keep pace at the top of the table. To score early and then hold on was very pleasing as well and to keep the clean sheet was fantastic. If we can keep up our run of form in the league over the oncoming months then I believe we can secure this title. Our Champions League performance against Galatasaray was not good enough though and we should have done a lot better and now have a lot of work to do to qualify for the Quarter Finals.
Top three seems certain now, so congratulations on that triumph. As for the title race.... well it's certainly gonna be a thrilling one!
Hopefully you can emerge victorious....

Olympique de Marseille soared into the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2012 with a crushing 4-0 victory over Turkish Galatasaray, to easily overcome the 2-0 deficit from the first leg. The result meant that Marseille won 4-2 on aggregate and the rout was started after only 15 minutes when Kevin Grobkreutz fouled Romain Alessandrini in the penalty area. Alessandrini then stepped up to comfortably slot the penalty home past Fernando Muslera to give L’OM the lead and the advantage as they sought to close the 2-0 aggregate deficit.
They were level though after 31 minutes Munir El Haddadi slipped the ball out wide to Benjamin Mendy who delivered a ferocious cross into the area which was met by Mario Lemina whose powerful header flew past the Uruguayan Muslera in the Gala net. Just three minutes later Marseille took the lead on aggregate as Romain Alessandrini played a delightful cross field ball to Brice Dja Djedje who crossed in to find Munir at the near post who calmly slotted away to make it 3-0 and give L’OM the advantage.
The second was much tighter as Gala pushed for an away goal that would have seen them go through and Marseille looked for a fourth to extend their advantage. It took until the 82nd minute for the final breakthrough as Edwin Cardona ran the length of the Galatasaray half in a fantastic counter attack, before slipping an easy through ball to Romain Alessandrini who placed his effort past Muslera to seal the 4-0 victory for Christophe Galtier’s men and secure their place in the Quarter Finals of the Champions League.
