Thanks man, didn't expect to be anywhere near the Quarter Finals after the group we were given! Huge challenges lie ahead though so the double might not be that easy :P

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER FINAL DRAW

16 March 2018

The draw for the Quarter Finals of the UEFA Champions League has been made and has thrown up some fascinating ties as the competition has come down to the last 8 teams now with some giants of European football in the running for the trophy. Between the 8 Quarter Finalists there are 24 competition wins meaning that the ties in the round will be very hotly contested as all 8 will be hoping to step out onto the pitch at the Signal Iduna Park come the end of the season.

Undoubtedly the ties of the round involve English teams as Arsenal will host the current Kings of Europe, Real Madrid. Chelsea will visit Borussia Dortmund who will be hoping they can play in the final on their own pitch. Five times winners Liverpool will also travel to Germany to meet Bayer Leverkusen, whilst fellow five times winners FC Barcelona will meet the only French winners in Olympique de Marseille. The first legs will be played 27/28th March, with the return legs being played 3rd/4th April.

I have a feeling you will pull off a miracle once again
Following your turnaround vs Galatasaray, anything is possible :P

You might be right but another 6-0 thumping at the Stade Velodrome this time wouldn't go a miss ;)

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER FINAL FIRST LEG UPDATE

27 March 2018

FC Barcelona took a huge step towards qualifying for the Semi Finals of the UEFA Champions League with an easy 2-0 victory over Olympique de Marseille in their Quarter Final First Leg. Luis Suarez continued his fantastic season by opening the scoring here at the Camp Nou, as Lionel Messi lofted the ball over the top to the Uruguayan forward. Borja Lopez came across to make the tackle but mistimed his lunge and allowed Suarez to burst through on goal, before unleashing a powerful effort into the roof of the net to give Barcelona the 1-0 lead. Marseille continued to sit deep trying to frustrate Barca, however in the 87th minute it came back to haunt them as Lionel Messi turned onto his left foot, unchallenged and unleashed a curling effort into the top corner to double Barca’s lead and give the Catalan side a 2-0 advantage going into next week’s second leg at the Stade Velodrome.

I can see another comeback happening
If you are going to claim to be the comeback king, now is the time to prove it!
