2016-06-02 12:06#233005 BeanyUnited : Huge congrats on the promotion pal!! Huge summer ahead now, hopefully you are able to keep all your players at the club and invest in a few new ones :)

Thanks a lot mate! Massive summer, need to get this squad ready for the third tier!

2016-06-02 16:40#233033 Jack : It's just filthy how good Juventus are doing, I smell match-fixing again ;)

Haha that will be us one day, just without the match-fixing :P

2016/2017 SEASON TARGETS

23 June 2016

Initial Budgets

The board have given us a huge budget for the level we are at. For a third tier team in Italian football the amount of money we have been given gives us a big chance of pushing for promotion again come the end of the season, if the money is spent wisely.

PARMA REVEAL KITS AHEAD OF NEW SEASON

04 July 2016

________________________________________
- Parma Calcio reveal new home, away and third kits ahead of first season back in Lega Pro
- Home kit based on 1999 UEFA Cup Winning Kit
- Third Kits Use New Colour Schemes

Parma Calcio have today revealed their new kits ahead of the upcoming 2016/2017 season. The club’s kits will now be made by Italian sportswear manufacturer Lotto, with the manufacturers taking the decision to change the colour scheme and style of Parma’s home kits for the first time since the 2003-2004 season, with the team now running out at the Ennio Tardini in a shirt made of yellow and blue hoops, inspired by the team that won the European Cup Winners Cup and the UEFA Cup in the 1990s.

The teams away kit for the new season will follow the colour scheme of last season’s home kit with black and white hoops whilst the biggest surprise is the clubs third kit, with Parma now playing in a darker shade of purple. The change of kits has been met with relatively wide applause as Parma fans seem happy that the decision to revert back to blue and yellow hoops has been made by both the club and the new manufacturers.

When asked about the teams new kits, which were modelled by Kristaps Zommers, Alessandro Lucarelli, Francesco Corapi and Simone Corazza, Parma manager Paolo Vanoli stated; ”I am delighted and thrilled to see the team wear these kits again next season. It is a great throwback to an era that seems long gone for many, but that for some fans, hopefully they’ll still be dreaming of, and these kits are reminiscent of that massively successful team. I can’t wait for the team to run out onto the pitch during one of our home games to see them in these blue and yellow shirts.”

That is a humongous budget for a Lega Pro side!! And those kits are gorgeous - I'd certainly be buying one ;)
I really like the blue and yellow kit!

Its actually ridiculous, theres no need for it because the players that are interested in joining us arent even worth that much!

Haha thanks for the kit comment mate, wish I could buy one too ;)

Haha thanks mate, the glory days are coming back!

PARMA ANNOUNCE ARRIVAL OF TWO NEW FACES

12 July 2016

Fabiano Santacroce and Giammario Piscitella both have top flight experience with Parma, Napoli and Roma.
________________________________________
- Fabiano Santacroce and Giammario Piscitella complete their transfers to the Ennio Tardini
- Santacroce rejoins on a free transfer, whilst Piscitella arrives for £155K
- Signings add quality reinforcements to Paolo Vanoli’s squad

Parma have today confirmed their latest batch of new recruits as Fabiano Santacroce and Giammario Piscitella become the latest players to join Paolo Vanoli’s team. With Vanoli preparing his team for a campaign in the third tier of Italian football, the Lega Pro, the signings of Santacroce and Piscitella will add top flight experience to the squad at the Ennio Tardini and both Vanoli and the Parma fans will be hoping the players can make a big impact on the clubs affairs in the upcoming season. Santacroce is expected to become one of Vanoli’s first choice defensive pairing and Paolo Vanoli will hope the defender can hit the ground running when Parma return from their pre season break in 6 days time.

Santacroce is a familiar face to Parma fans having made 35 appearances for the club between 2011 and 2014 whilst the club was still in Serie A, having previously played for Napoli in the top flight of Italian football. His new manager at Parma in Paolo Vanoli was delighted to have the player back at the club. ”He is a player that left after the disappointment of what happened to the old club, but he is back now, and ready to make a big impact on the teams fortunes, starting with our bid to get out of the third tier of this countrys footballing pyramid. It’s not going to be easy for him, but I am sure he can settle right back in at this level and become a big part of the team.”

The player himself was also delighted to be back at the Ennio Tardini, declaring ”This is a wonderful club that last year worked its socks off to get back into the third tier, and now I have been given the chance to prove myself at it again. I want to hit the ground running and help this team become a strong force in Italy once again.”

Piscitella was once deemed a potential future star for both Genoa and AS Roma, and although the midfielder’s star has faded a little, resulting in him playing third division football for Parma now, manager Paolo Vanoli was still confident there was still a brilliant footballer waiting to be unlocked. ”He is a wonderful footballer, he has proven that in the short time he has trained with me and the other new signings this month. He was one of the first players to say he wanted to return early so we let him come back and he has looked really solid so far. There is a brilliant footballer in there waiting to be unlocked and really come to the foreground and show Italy what he can do.”

The player was delighted to have been given the chance to prove his worth at the Ennio Tardini. ”Parma have given me a big opportunity to prove myself at this huge club. There is a lot of people pulling in the right direction at the minute and we are on our way to another successful season if we can all pull together. I just want to force my way into the team from now and there is a long pre season campaign to prove my worth to this team.”

A lot of money for that level going to spend wildly or be more responsible with the money
Looks like a great pair of signings. You've got a lot of dosh to play with so use it wisely! ;)

Going to have to bring in quite a few players to make this squad one that can compete in the league but hopefully we can strike a few deals and spend as little as possible :P

Don't worry there wont be a load of massive signings, plenty of incoming players but not huge fees :P

TOMMASO CANCELLOTTI ARRIVES AT PARMA FROM JUVE STABIA

16 July 2016

Tommaso Cancellotti previously played for Juve Stabia, Pro Vercelli and UC Sampdoria.
________________________________________
- Full back arrives on 2 year deal from Juve Stabia for fee worth £325K
- Made 60 appearances for Juve Stabia in Girone C of Lega Pro
- Has previously played for Pro Vercelli in Serie B and Sampdoria in Serie A

Paolo Vanoli today unveiled his latest signing at the Ennio Tardini as Tommaso Cancellotti signed on the dotted line on a contract until June 2018. The full back arrives with a vast amount of Lega Pro and Serie B experience to his name, and Cancellotti’s arrival has been greeted with a lot of optimism by Parma fans, who believe the full back can really help push Francesco Luoni to his best form, as well as making the new signing play to the best of his ability. Cancellotti joins the team just before the rest of the squad return from their pre season training, but has according to Paolo Vanoli already fitted in with his fellow new arrivals at the club.

Cancellotti’s arrival at the club has been greeted with mass fanfare by the clubs faithful and at the players official unveiling at the Ennio Tardini, Paolo Vanoli was happy to have secured the new players signature. ”He has a great set of attributes and works really well, he is going to be a very good addition to this squad and perhaps allows for Francesco Luoni to work in the centre if needs be, but for now we’re going to have some great competition for places in Francesco Luoni and Tommaso.”

The player immediately took to Parma’s official website, with an interview with the club, with the player announcing; ”It is my intention to go on and help this team have another memorable season. After last season’s successes many expect the team to stagnate a little bit but I will give my absolute all to make sure that we don’t and that we can go on and achieve something this season.”

Loving all three of these signings! I think you have more a task spending the money at this level than being able to save it! Who is worth that much at this level haha!!

Also loving the pink kit :)
Appears to be a good signing, plus I'd like one of those third kits, could you send one to Gateshead please? ;)
Looks like a good little signing there :)
You're making good use of this money so it seems, another top signing for this level :)
