League Table
Player of the Month
Mattia Minesso
In a month where Parma’s form continued at a steady level, Paolo Vanoli’s men continue to occupy a spot just outside the play off spots. Mattia Minesso has been integral to Parma’s performances this month, averaging an 8.0 rating in all his appearances over the course of the season and the midfielder is in fine form, especially alongside the ever impressive Francesco Corapi.
Injuries
Giammario Piscitella. The former Roma winger came off injured after the 2-0 victory over Vicenza and now the midfielder will miss 5 to 6 weeks with a back strain.
Simone Corazza. The forward, who scored his first goal of the season in the cup tie against Pistoeise, he later suffered a back strain in the same game and will, like Piscitella, miss 5 to 6 weeks of action.
Next Month
November could be a month where Parma really push on in the Lega Pro Girone A. Three of their four opponents in the league are currently below Parma in the table and Alessandria, Parma’s first opponents of the month, lie in 6th, just one spot above Paolo Vanoli’s men. After the visit of Alessandria, Pro Patria welcome Parma to the Carlo Speroni in the cup tie, although Parma will most likely be placing much more importance on the league tie against FeralpiSalo at Lino Turina in the league just a few days later. A week after that Pordenone visit the Ennio Tardini in a big game where Parma will be desperate to pick up another three points, before they end the month away at Giana Erminio, again hoping to pick up three points.

Manager’s Thoughts
Considering I was under pressure at the start of the month, I feel like we’ve improved a lot and are in much better shape. With any luck, we can really push on next month and get some big results, and keep moving forward towards the top end of the table. We’ve had some good results this month and progressing through the cup was really good to see. The win against Vicenza was fantastic, it was probably our best performance of the season alongside the victory against Olginatese and if we can keep winning games like that away from home and start winning games at the Ennio Tardini, we are going to be in fine fettle going forward.
