Utter disapointment ! We never got our offensive movement and passing-game started and lost almost every one-on-one situation... If we don't improve this will be a dark year!

I know it's not the biggest of competitions, but it felt good to be on the winning side once again and the morale-boost could help pushing forward in the leaugegames as well

As I like to say, "A trophy is a trophy."
The competition it is only matters when you don't win.
Yet another disapointing defeat! But I've got no problems pin-pointing the problem... the first game we lost 2-1 even though CCC were 3-0 to us. We need to defend set pices better, and I need to find a way to get my goalscorers at the end of my attacks. In my current line-up I've only got one player with the purpose an attributes to be a massive goalscorer, however he hardy ever finds himself in the great positions we set up and my less gifted finishers ends up with the shot instead... So it's back to the drawingboard I guess...

What a beautiful brace! Never seen this before

I'm really disguested right now... We failed to qualify for next yars CL as we failed to pick up a single win in our last three games against below avrage opponents Middelsborough, Wolves and Burnly, just to top things off, it was all decided by an own-goal... I'm so pissed right now I'll have to calm down before the "end of year report"...

Really bad luck mate, 79 points and that didn't even get you 4th place! You should go back to using the tactic I uploaded :D Arsenal had an outstanding season, the best I've an English non player controlled team do on FM.
Well yeha, Arsenal are beasts, I think they've passed 40 leauge-games unbeaten now... Though I'll never forget my Cádiz game (though I'm not sure if it was FM10 or 09) when I conqured Spain. Real reached 100+ games unbeaten once... they year I beat them I won the leauge for the first time and then I had won CL numerous times.

Well I found myself unable to adapt to diffrent situations with it, it works against most teams, and when it does it's great. But the moment your opponents figure out a way to cope with it your fu**ed to put it delicatly... I've decided to take on a more vanilla approach, adapting my formation after the players at my disposal and aside from that playing as "default" as possible... We'll see how it goes!
A while back I said that I wanted to build this team based on home-grown players. However this has been very difficult because of the tremendous amount of time it has taken to build a decent youth-setup (and I'm not even there yet). This combined with the high prices and wages of the english players and my lack of financial muscles has made this viritualy impossible.

Today was a step forward towards my goal.

Young is my first ever player who has made it to the first-team from my academy. I'm not gonna lie though, he won't ever be a first-team regular as he doens't have more then a 1.5 potential star-rating. The only reason he played is that I currently have 3 injured left FBs which didn't leave me much of a choise.

However last summer was a success youth-wise as our previous top-prospect had a potential star-rating of one litte star... But this summer we got about 5 players with a 1.5 rating so things are definetly going in the right direction. I've also upgraded my traning- and youthfacilities since and an upgrade of the youthrecruitment is in the works.
NONONONONO! I knew it was dangerous to let the clausule sit but the money it was saving me made me take that chanse, boy did I pay for it!

I tried to give him a new contract but Lazio more then trippled his salary and there's not much I can do about it now but re-asses the squad and see if a replacement will be needed...
After some tight games and a bit of a dip in our leauge-run it felt good to add to our tropycolection.

It may not be the first time we stand on top of the hill in this tournament, but some concistensy is always nice and it does give a bit of a boost for future fixtures as we're still highly involved in all entered competitions this season.
And so we face what's probably the biggest week in Bloods history. Tomorrow we're facing off against United at home in the very last clash of the season. We're at the top of the table two points ahead of United and City. A win would obvioulsy secure our second leauge-title, but unless City wins their next game with 6 goals or more a draw will be sufficient. However they are playing hopeless jumbos Nottingham at home so I'm not ruling the possibility out.

Only three days after this ecip battle awaits the Europa Leauge final against Inter on Hampden Park, Glasgow. A victroy here would mean that we've won all major trophies possible for an english team except for the FA-cup, thing is though, that we'll get that chanse as we're trveling to London to play West Ham in the FA-cup final another three days later.

So hopefully this week will end on Wemblys grass rejoycing it what must be seen as our most successful season yet! Though once again I won't be able to spend too much time rejoycing as I'm traveling to Mexico. This time I'm here with the Argentinian national-team to secure their first WC since 1986. But I certianly can't focus on that right now
Have I misread or is that Iraq in the World Cup?!
well they managed to get in throug the emensly highly contested qualifying-group containing themselves, Syria (who won the group with ease), Vietnam and India :P
Ahh, the joy to once again stand here. This feels extra good for two reasons. The first one being that we managed to take matters in to own hands and beating our biggest rivals face to face. It just feels more right then winning by beating some already relegated and soon to be Championship side to decide the leauge-winner. The other reason is the fact that this is our second leauge-title in a relativly short amount of time proving to the world that we're no one hit wonder!

But the celebrations will have to wait as new challanges are knocking on the door already, on to Scotland!
