In my quest to bring the same glory to my native Sweden as I did to Argentina I felt it's time for changes. The qulifiers haven't been a disaster at all thus far, but in order to elevate our game we need to find a solid philosophy and players who fit into it. I also felt the urge to let some of the old-timers who didn't contribute anything to the team any more go, replacing them with the men of tomorrow.
Media and others doesn't understand what I'm doing, which I can live with. What I do have a hard time accepting however is that they are incinuating that I'm not doing everything I can to reach success, I feel this is totaly outrageous! I guess all I can do now is to hope for the changes to lead us onto greener pastures and thus quiet all the critics
The season has come to it's latter stages and it's easy to tell with almost every game being an important game. In the last one we koncked Inter out of the CL-quaterfinals:
Now we are to play Feyenoord. I'd say they are the most surprising top-team of Europe as they've been regulars in the CL-knockoutstage and had some pretty good runs! The leauge-play isn't over yet, but unless Arsenal suffers a major break-down I'll have to settle for runner-up
lol, this is definetly a first! In the last leaugefixture we played Middelsburough. We were down in manpower, especialy in the offense as 3 out of our 4 strikers were injured or suspended. The only one to stand was the longserving Myers, but he hadn't played alot this year and when the halftimewitsle came he could barely stand! We were up 2-0 so I decided to have some fun, I decided to sub Myers out and his replacement was no other then my goalie Yacoubou! I figured he was big and black enough to cause some trouble up front... the result was least to say surprising!
aside from this goal he also bagged an assist, just amazing !
Okey, lots has happened since my last post. First in order was the FA-cup final.
I'm really dissapointed that we didn't manage to defend another title. They got a late goal which made it extra hard to take, but honestly we never really got going and Arsenal deserved their win.
No time to sulk though, the day after we travelled into the cold north as the CL-final awaited in Moscow. The opposition was Chelsea and there was no way I was going to let those London-scum stop me from brining our second CL-trophy to Manchester.
The guys looked fired up like never before when walking on to the pitch to the CL-hymn. We were the superior team all day long even if we had a hard time finding the net.
Here's the whole run, I'm pleased to say we stayed undefeated thorugh the intire tournament!
One thing I can't help to notice is that we only won two game with more then the odd goal. I can't really understand why this is, maby it's worth giving some thought...
As I've mentioned Arsenal more or less killed the leauge-race when they managed to steal all three points from under our noses in a game we really deserved to win.
The overall preformance was okey, but not more. We were dominant in almost all games, but when we had a hard time scoring it always ended up costing us point-wise.
Even though we went down in the FA-final I'm pleased to see that we've dominated the domestic competitions over the last two years as we've played all four finals and won 3 of them.
Brining home our first Community Shield felt good as well since it has eluded us in the past.
Another first-time win was the Euro Super Cup, beating the Catalan dwarfs always pleases!
The next season I'll have a shot on play-back as we're playing Socidad who beat us back in 2024, it will be interesting to once again go up against the best player in the world!
I'm also going to dissapoint many of you as I'm leaning more and more towards letting Prete stay. He's been nothing short of amazing the last couple of weeks and really pulled himself togather. Though he did come and whine about his contract once again the other day, diffrence is that he ran off as he should when I lashed out at him.
The quest for golry with my native Sweden has also been a success. We've really found our way and all we need to do now is to steal a point against Germany and the tickets to Italy and the European Championships can be booked.
Lastly I'm pleased to inform that our success is owning me a growing chapter in the historybooks. Atm I'm ranked at 15th, but if we continue to rake in trophies like this year I'll be moving up the ladder rapidly!
Jeasus f***ing Christ, this is where it ends! Only months after our last incident the band of midgets are back and this time there will be no mercy! The little prick just doesn't know when to back down and now he will play the price!
I'll look to get at least €60mil out of the deal, but more imporantly some peace and quiet in the lookerroom.
The Bloods marshes on to a second title-defence! We crushed Socidad 4-1 and rest asure that the italien prick was glued to the bench. He was replaced by 21-year old Arikan who played a great game bagging a goal and flashing a magnificant assist!
I'm yet to get the right offer for him as no bids over €45mil has dropped in yet, I'm considering to drop my €60mil down a bit, but atleast €50 would be reasonable.
The trophies keep rolling in, our latest scalp is the Club World Championship... I'm not sure if I'm even proud about this one as it was a massakcre from beginning to end of helpless children.
Remember the young argentinian defenceman Silguero who I bought a couple of years back to tidy up the defence? Well even if you don't I'm pleased to say that he's the first and only Droylsdenplayer thus far to be voted a part of the "Word Team of the Year" (Messi has been in the team on noumerous ocasions but as he wasn't anywhere close to that standard during his time here.
He hit some rough patches during his first season but has since grown in to a beast and hasn't only been a big part of our success here at Droylsden Stadium but was also a leading star during my WC-goldrun in Mexico with Argentina!
Thanks mate! Well I've been thinking abit about staring a new game actually, but I figure it'll have to wait until I get seriously boared with this one (which is far from the case atm) or until FM12 comes. Though heads up, it's not going to be anywhere close to this Droylsden-dynasti!
