Boys In Red Edge Closer To The Title

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used - Paul Pogba, Nani, Danny Welbeck

I expected the win over Chelsea today but not by 4 goals! Vidic put us ahead early on but Phil Jones got the away side level when he put the ball into the back of his own net. From then on it was all us grabbing 3 more goals before half time through Hernandez, Hamsik & a John Terry og. We wrapped things up early in the second half with a trademark Nani strike..over to City.

Damaging Stalemate At Old Trafford

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs, Park Ji Sung

This result was all down to one sensational performance from Spurs keeper Gomes. He made numerous saves and blocks to deny us and because of this we have now dropped 2 more points in the title race as Manchester City close in.

Manchester United 0 - 0 Tottenham Hotspur

Injury News: Javier Hernandez will be unavailable for 3 weeks. This could be time for Dimitar Berbatov or Michael Owen to get some gametime before there contracts run out at the end of the season.

Evans Dismissal Adds To Unpleasent FA Cup Tie For United

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Marek Hamsik, Ryan Giggs, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Phil Jones, Nani, Park Ji Sung

I felt fairly confident we could get the win that would see us through to the FA cup final for the first time in 5 years however it just didnt happen for us today. Jonny Evans was sent off after half an hour for conceding a penalty, one in which Van Persie missed leaving the scoreline at 0-0. We got some good chances during the match but could not convert them and it cost us eventually when with 15mins to play Van Persie got his chance and took it with venom! So thats our FA cup journey over now we have to focus on the Champions League on tuesday.

Manchester United 0 - 1 Arsenal

4-5-1
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Michael Carrick, Anderson, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used -

A fine response from my team following there FA cup disappointment 3 days earlier. Amazingly we were 3-0 up inside the opening 15mins of the game, Wayne Rooney grabbed the first then Vidic scored with a header & just 2mins later Marek Hamsik got our third with a scrappy finish in the 6 yard box. With 20mins to go Bruno somehow managed to put the ball into his own net & thats how it finished, what a win for us & now il look to rest some key players in the second leg to keep them fresh for the league.

Valencia 0 - 4 Manchester United

Tight Contest At St James

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Michael Carrick, Dimitar Berbatov

Today we had our 2 centre backs to thank after our bad start. Demba Ba got the home side off to a great start but not long after Phil Jones headed in his first senior goal & the equaliser. Just before half time we went ahead again from a corner & this time it was Rio Ferdinand who popped up to head home.

Newcastle United 1 - 2 Manchester United

United Win With Key Players Rested

4-5-1
Line Up - Anders Lindegaard, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Paul Pogba, Tom Cleverley, Ashley Young, Ryan Giggs, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Fabio, Michael Carrick, Park Ji Sung

It looked asif it was going to end in a stalemate however midway through the first half Danny Welbeck got in to smash the ball past Alves, his first in nearly 2 months! So we head to the final in 3 weeks time oh yes!

Manchester United 1 - 0 Valencia

Welbeck Knocks L'Pool Out Of Title Race

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Park Ji Sung, Nani, Dimitar Berbatov

This game had alot of impact on the title race it was simple we win L'Pool are out of the race, we lose then there right in there with City..fortunately a certain Danny Welbeck ensured the night went our way with his 62nd minute winner. With 3 games to play we lead City by 4 points!

Manchester United 1 - 0 Liverpool

Sloppy Reds Drop More Points

4-5-1
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Nani, Javier Hernandez

Nemanja Vidic & Danny Welbeck had us 2-0 up by half time, we were controlled and good for our lead however the second half the home side pressed us hard and got there reward. Shane Long converted a penalty on the hour & just six minutes later he had them level with a close range header. Im disappointed with the fact we lost our focus in such a important time & will expect a massive response on the weekend against Wolves.

West Bromwich Albion 2 - 2 Manchester United

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans, Fabio, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Javier Hernandez, Danny Welbeck

Haven't really got too much to say on this, Wolves went ahead but Danny Welbeck got us a point. Not good enough from my players they've got off lucky as City only managed a 0-0 with Norwich.

Manchester United Secure 20th League Title In Style

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Ryan Giggs, Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Michael Carrick, Ashley Young

With the disappointment of the previous 2 league games behind us i made sure my players were fully focused on today's game, Swansea may already be relegated but as all you guys know anything can happen in this game. Thankfully we played a great game today & clinched the title emphatically, goals from Wayne Rooney, Marek Hamsik, captain Nemanja Vidic & a brace from Javier Hernandez helped capture the trophy!

Manchester United 5 - 0 Swansea City

I will be following this up with numerous stats & awards screenshots so stay tuned for that. I hope you have enjoyed my first season as Manchester United boss, i still have the champions league final to play & i hope you will continue to follow my season into season 2. I can promise changes to the club, there will be arrivals there will be departures & there will also be more trophies!
