Stoke Come Close To Upset At Old Trafford

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Kyle Walker, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Nani

Was safe to say Stoke played better than us tonight not in terms of shots but how they moved the ball around the park creating opportunities. Crouch came close a couple of times but could not find a way past David De Gea, our goal came close to half time when Danny Welbeck was played through on goal, he rounded the keeper and tucked away.

United Struggling To Settle Despite Win

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Kyle Walker, Phil Jones, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Paul Pogba, Jack Rodwell, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck
Subs Used - Darren Fletcher, Javier Hernandez

We got away with this win today. We were carved open numerous times & were poor with our passing. The only positive was we came from behind to get the win which was good, Paul Pogba struck a great shot into the top left corner then Danny Welbeck got our winner after an hour. Need to improve for Arsenal who are scoring goals for fun right now.

Yet another poor performance from my players however we managed the 3 points against an on fire Arsenal side. Danny Welbeck gave us an early lead however Jack Rodwell went off injured after 22mins, close to half time Andre Ayew got Arsenal level with a goal that could of been so avoidable if we defended properly. With the tie destined to finish a draw Valencia sent one final cross which got deflected into Javier Hernandez path & he wasn't going to miss from 3 yards out! Another get out of jail card was issued to us today but i can see us getting thumped in the near future if we don't pull ourselves together soon.

Manchester United 2 - 1 Arsenal

Goal Shy United Sneak 3 Points

4-5-1
Line Up - David De Gea, Rafael, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Paul Pogba, Darren Fletcher, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used - Phil Jones

This was actually the best performance of the season to be honest, however we still lack the finishing touch we had for much of last season so i need to work out how to change that. Nani got our goal in the first half, Jonny Evans went off soon after the restart with a torn hamstring and will be out for 3-4months.

This is what ive been waiting for..so far this season we have rid our luck abit but tonight we showed our true class! Goals from Wayne Rooney, Antonio Valencia, Nemanja Vidic & a double from in form Danny Welbeck saw us through. Im hoping this will properly kick start our season, yes we have won all of our games so far but in most of them we haven't looked comfortable but tonight we certainly did. Sunderland managed just 2 shots to our 29, next SIX games are at Old Trafford so il be expecting good performances.

Sunderland 0 - 5 Manchester United
Nice, 6 games at home should be 18 points :D

We suffered an early scare when Everton went ahead however that proved to be there only shot of 2 on target the whole 90mins. Rooney got us level before Phil Neville recieved his marching orders for a rash challenge. Wayne got 2 more goals in the second half to secure his hattrick and another 3 points which sends us 5 clear!

Manchester United 3 - 1 Everton

21 attempts on goal tonight & only 2 went in! & yet the first didnt come until over an hour into the match even with the away side down to 10men. An own goal set up our win & then Danny Welbeck doubled the lead to send us top of our group with 2 wins out of 2.

Another 3 points but another game in which we had alot of chances but cuden't put them away. Nani got our first & in the second half, sub Ryan Giggs smashed the ball into the top right hand corner. He maintains his streak of scoring in every premier league campaign since his first season.

Manchester United 2 - 0 Hull City

A little disappointed to concede a penalty as we limited there attack to near enough nothing all game but glad to have hit 4 goals. Wayne Rooney opened the scoring then Nani struck a curving wonder shot into the right hand corner..Valencia got on the end of Nani's cross to get our third after Wolves penalty & then in stoppage Rooney grabbed another to take his tally to 7 in 10 games. Up next is the Champions League against Celtic.

Manchester United 4 - 1 Wolverhampton Wanderers
