Seydou Keita's contract officially expires in a month and numerous contract talks with the Malian player has broken down.
Luis Suarez has won the European Champions' League Best Player and European Champions' League Best Goal.
Following Jamie Carragher's retirement, Uruguayan defender Sebastian Coates has become the new Liverpool vice-captain at the age of 24.
The players have gone on vacation for the off-season, and in the meantime Liverpool have confirmed the transfers of two young stars from South America, both are Argentine.

Jorge Schmidt

Gonzalo Baldomar

Both of these 18-year-olds are capped at Argentina youth levels and are showing promise to be stars for the future - Schmidt comes to us from River in Argentina and can play as a central defender, Baldomar hails from Boca Juniors and plays as a center midfielder and also can take up a second role as a defensive midfielder.

Schmidt and Baldomar will go straight into my already-very-talented Reserves team.
Jamie Carragher has took up the position of Youth Coach at Sheffield United as Liverpool have moved too late to secure his signature as one of the backroom staff at the club, but he has however joined his former manager Tham's Spain squad as a coach in the national team setup.
BREAKING: Liverpool wrap up Mata deal

Liverpool have confirmed the signing of former Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata. Mata made only 6 league appearances for Chelsea last season and requested a transfer to get more first team playing time and the Blues wasted no time in off-loading a player they deemed surplus to requirements, with the 27-year-old Spaniard linking up with the Reds for 9 million, 13 million less than what Chelsea paid to land his signature from Valencia.

Although the Liverpool fans are supposedly unhappy with a rival club signing, Tham has said that he is confident that Mata will win the fans over in his time at Liverpool. The two know each other with Mata being in the Spain national team that Tham manages and the Reds coach is adamant that his new signing will make an impact.
18-year-old Belgian striker Johan Put, has joined Birmingham on loan from Liverpool Reserves.
Luis Suarez has won the Fans' Player of the Year for the THIRD time in a row.

Liverpool 14/15 Best Eleven: Reina, Soley, Coates, Doux, Enrique, Lucas, Gerrard, Sterling, Howard, Suarez, Balotelli

I have no idea how Raheem Sterling got in there and how Doux & Soley got in there. Sure they have had a successful season but they did as back-up, Martin Montoya too had a good season and so did Danny Wilson so I'm surprised they didn't make the Best Eleven.

Liverpool will travel to Southampton for their first Premier League match of the 15/16 season.
Premier League Watch

Alan Shearer and Newcastle are very interested in my academy product David Soley, who has had quite a season although playing backup to Martin Montoya.
Newcastle have officially made an enquiry about David Soley... I have told them to cough up 10 million for my 18-year-old right back, just to make them go away.
Seydou Keita and Charlie Adam has left Liverpool after their contracts both came to an end. Keita has made 104 appearances in all competitions for Liverpool over a period of four years at the club and will be remembered fondly by Reds fans for his contributions. Adam, however, has a less impressive record and only boasts 13 appearances for Liverpool.

Spain U21s have lifted the U21 European Championship 2015, beating Holland U21s 5-4 in a penalty shootout.
A lot of transfer business going on at the club before we depart to the U.S.A for pre-season.
BREAKING: Xabi Alonso returns

Considered by Kopites as pretty much a Liverpool icon, Xabi Alonso has returned to Liverpool, on a free transfer.

The Spanish defensive midfielder, now 33, joins from Athletic Bilbao after his recent troubling years in Spain. Dipping form caused Real Madrid to not renew his contract and he joined Athletic Bilbao on a free transfer at the start of the 14/15 season, but flopped badly and Bilbao chose not to renew his one-year contract. Attracting strong interest from Valencia and Newcastle, Alonso eventually re-joined former club Liverpool where he enjoyed success and was a fan favorite before linking up with Real Madrid.
World Cup Qualifying
Tham's Spain has been given a fairly easy group.

Meanwhile Liverpool continue to be active in the transfer market.

Jason Stevens

This 16-year-old left back looks promising and on a plus side, is English. Coming from Middlesborough for 1.5 million, he is a star for the future.
Spain U19s have won the U19 European Championship much like the Spain U21s.
